Of course if you do this on a large sheet of paper you then have yourself a paper pattern to quickly whip up as many as you like without working it all out every time. You don’t need to do the full length in paper, just the top as then it’s just a case of lengthening the lines (so you save paper). X

It's a sweet dress, but I really struggled with your inconsistent instructions (measure shoulder to shoulder and then later you say oh ya, across the back... as an example of how off track it was). It would be nice to see a reference for the dress inserted during your explanation of measuring at the top of the triangle. Other than the thumbnail, it was tough to visualize the dress. I love all things Ellie and Mac, patterns and videos but this one needed some help. (Sorry for being a negative Nelly... The dress really turned out sweet)

Oh yes, I see what you mean. Sometimes I get turned around and don’t see it until one of you fantastic folks mentions it. I try to make sure I include as much detail a I can, but sometimes i’m not able to. I didn’t realize the thumbnails would have been hard to see… I will keep that in mind. Thanks for watching!!

What size is your daughter? I want to make this dress for my 10 year old granddaughter, so basically size 12, however I will have to rely on her mother's measurement. I will look up the standard measurements but I would like to compare with what you have in the video.
