The 10-time Grammy Award-winner, Arturo Sandoval, brings the spirit of Afro-Cuban Jazz to Atlanta's Rialto Center for the Arts at Georgia State University, Saturday, November 12, 2022.
Arturo Sandoval is a Cuban-American jazz trumpeter, pianist and composer. He was a protégé of the legendary NEA Jazz Master Dizzy Gillespie, the first musician to bring Latin influences into American Jazz. Sandoval recently released a new book chronicling his relationship with Dizzy Gillespie entitled “The Man Who Changed My Life,” he is also a 2013 recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom.
