Simulator Adventures Manchester - Airbus A320 experience - Friday 18th March 2022

Simulator Adventures is an Airbus A320 simulator, based in Salford Quays, Manchester. The simulator features a fully authentic A320 cockpit, even utilising actual A320 sidesticks. A 6 axis motion system makes this probably the most realistic flight simulator in the UK and its even used by the professionals to polish up their skills!
My Son had a 2 hour session booked and he really did get value for money every minute of it. Upon arrival we were greeted and offered refreshment in a waiting area decked out with actual seats from a former Japanese airline A330 airbus. The guys who run the company are both pilots and obviously enthusiastic in their hobby and business.
In the film we start with a flight from Manchester Ringway to Bristol Lulsgate. The approach to Lulsgate is then rerun, but in stormy wet and thundery weather. (After this we did it a third time in very thick, low fog!).
We then move onto an approach and landing at the former Hong Kong airport at Kai Tak.
Finally, there are a couple of clips from a quick visit to Manchester Ringway / International, were we see a Boeing 737 of Jet2 airlines, a TAP Embraer and an Easy Jet Airbus.
