A very pleasant video, Chris. Such a shame most of the historic stations and buildings have gone 😢 👏🏻👏🏻

Very true Kevin, most amazing was South Brent nothing left, all gone, the loss of all that infrastructure very wasteful. Chris.

Very interesting film. Thank you. We lost a lot of lovely railways and buildings thanks to Dr Beeching.

Wonderful nostalgia Chris . It must have cost a small fortune to close these stations , pull down signal boxes and pull up the rails . What would it have cost to just leave it alone ? Thanks Chris .

From reading John they sold the tracks for scrap and the stations were left largely abandoned for some years until purchased to be converted into private homes. Sadly Kingsbridge and Brent Station have gone completely. Chris.

A cracking film of yesteryear. Chris . Loved the stills photographs especially the horses and coach , signal box . And camp coaches. The signal finials nicly painted and put on the gate way to the house walls. Yes those were the days . Of course i would still rather live in . Steam and tranquil life. Thanks Chris. 😊

Nice tour Chris. I'm familiar with some of the places so it was nice to see it from a railway angle.

Hi Chris, I've only just discovered your channel and I'm so glad I have. 00:16 I didn't realize train stations "spring up" 🙂 I love your work mate. Are you flying your plane or are you a passenger? You need not answer, but I do want to know. Maybe when I've seen a few more of your videos, I will know. I adore aviation as much as I do trains.

Hello Chris . As always a revealing episode of times past . At the time we all castigated Dr. Beechings savage decisions but his hands were politically tied behind his back. However, it must be said if the tracks had been left , l genuinely believe we would have re engaged theIr services. Thanks Chris

Agreed John that amount of infrastructure lost never to be recovered very sad. Chris.
