These days, the closest thing to a train that runs along where the track used to be is a bicycle with a trailer, but at least the route is still in use as the Wray Valley Trail. :) Mostly used for leisure, but a few people like myself use it for commuting or shopping. People have been talking about re-opening the line from Heathfield to Newton Abbot, the tracks are still there, and it'd reduce road traffic into Newton. The wooden platform of Pullabrook Halt is still visible after all this time, but very delapitdated. The area is now used for grazing cows. Moretonhampstead Station recently became a housing estate after being a lorry depot, they unfortunately removed a lot of what remained of the station platform and buildings. They even dismantled a listed goods shed to rebuild into flats. Also, Victorian navvies made a deep cutting through the rocks just north of Lustleigh - One of the most impressive-looking engineering leftovers of the track that's still visible today, aside from the unused bridges. You ought to have included a photo of it. :)
I'd love to see you guys attempt this with the old en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kingsbridge_branch_line - it goes through some stunning South Devon scenery and I think the track beds are still discernible!
Thanks James for another brilliant film. I am jealous of your cyber skills and love the way the old railways are brought to life. Frosty.

Great and unusual concept😊 for a video - I’d have preferred an actual GWR train however but that doesn’t detract. Well done.
Absolutely fantastic video. Thank you!
This is wonderful. More please
