I was in the audience... Reggie is my favorite session guitar guy of all time. I know historically there's a bunch of L.A. guys etc. but there's something special about Reggie's vibe and style. He fits in everywhere and at his age, is still rockin'. I've had the pleasure of playing guitar with him on two records. He is as nice and patient as can be when asking him questions about his gear and amps or whatever. He's brilliant as a player and a wonderful human being. He's No. 1 in my book.
when people ask me who my favrite guitarist is, most of them like jimmy page, eric clapton, jimi hendrix etc. but when i say reggie young,they reply "who's he". i respond you all own music by him and probably don't know it. reggie you are the best, in a class by yourself.no equals.
Reggie has played on an amazing number of hit songs. This doesn't even scratch the surface of the list of songs he's performed on. Very impressive, thanks for posting!!
