I bought one off Craigslist for $15, it’s a Suzuki with faux wood and hippy flowers on it. Gotta be 70s perhaps late 60s. It’s a little on the cheaper end but I think it’s cool. It needs restringing, any help there would be great.
Wow, $15! Nice one! I'll post a guide on re-stringing with string gauges since it can be hard to find string sets for this instrument outside of Japan.
Love these instrument description videos, and yes to a playing video
Great, thank for watching!
It would be interesting to hear it plugged in and amped up, with some effect too, please!!!!
Alright. Thanks for letting me know.
Thank you for introducing me to the Japanese Taishogoto!
@@EnjoyTaishokoto thank you for watching!
Nice. It's on my wish list. First saw it I think when Rob Scallon playaed it.
I hope you find one someday. They're quite fun to play and make a great conversation piece.
Now I want to use an old typewriter to make an instrument! :)
Also, yes to amplifying and using effects with it, please.
Super interesting, cheers!
Thank you for watching!
there is an actual musical composition called the typewriter that uses an actual typewriter.
@@hifijohn that would be playing 4D chess.
got mine for $80 from ebay, you dont have to keep it at "g" you can tune the strings any way you want to.
Good thinking! I might experiment with the tuning based on the music I need to play.

Where did you go?
Work has been a bit demanding the past month so I haven't had the free time to make many videos lately.
