For anyone that wants to try this hack out, here are a few things to note
1. This hack is MEGA Difficult, only try if you're an expert at Classic and Modern Sonic games
2. For the third act, anytime a warning arrow appears, be prepared to act, as you have less than a second to preform any action, if there is no warning arrow, just hold right the entire time
3. For the second boss, stay away from the boss at all times, and let IT come near you, then try to attack, also, try to destroy the little guys, they give you rings
4. The Down Dash will deplete one ring from your counter, The Forward and Diagonal Dash depletes 5 rings
5. Go Fast!

This hack is a gem. Not only the level design but the processing are chef kiss. I'd really want a continuation of this. Kudos to the creators, still one of the most memorable SHRs for me, alongside Eggman hates furries.
P.S. one detail that I found hella cool is that it doesn't say "Sonic completed act X", it's "Sonic destroyed". So badass.

I can’t imagine the torture of someone trying to beat that final level…running at high speed….not making any mess ups ….not knowing what you have to do to stay alive…while being chase by a fire wall…
Fun Fact: The first level music is from the Main Theme and Menu from Duke Nukem 3D (Grabbag), also Duke is voiced by the same VA of Big The Cat

When I play it I feels like I am playing with Sega CD
first and every time when i played it i lost every time in act 1 only once i finally went onto the act 1 boss
but instead of winning i get millions of orbi's flying into my face

9000 Times better than Wii U Sonic Boom, which It does not even compare to the Sonic CD's Sonic Boom.

A guy who reviewed this legitimately thought it was a terrible hack because of the level design but he didn't understand that it was supposed to be incredibly hard. I don't understand how a person could have this misconception that it's terrible because of its difficult level design. It's intentionally incredibly hard not just for the sake of speed but to be very difficult. The bosses are great. The game is supposed to be an annoying challenge full of precise jumps

If you're referring to Antdude, this is completely wrong. This hack is not as hard as it's just straight up unfair, with multiple enemies and obstacles being placed where you'd never expect them. If anything you're the one with the misconception, as you see intentionally cheap level design as a "good challenge".
I beat this rom hack when I was 8 years, you must be fucking terrible at this game if you think that this hack is unfair

In the ending of the final boss in Sonic Mania, you get into an escape car, and you need to escape from the fire.
Was that inspired by Act 3 of Sonic Boom?

I fucking ADORE the New Movement System in Boom, Its got the Sonic 2 Physics with some new mechanics like A Classic Version of the Jump Dash, a Downwards Kick, a Stomp (Sonic Boom did all this before modern sonic, let that sink in) and hell of a lot more, and its evenshown in the level design that youre supposed to use these to trek on through the Power Plant

Ive Always wondered does the fire in act 3 actually do anything because I've seen in some videos where Sonic is completely engulfed in the fire and he's still fine does it actually do anything or is the hitbox of the fire very small?
The fire drains your rings until you die. For example, look at 5:57.
