People say this game is just like Battlefield.... people say it's a CoD clone.... but you know what nobody says? Nobody says it looks like a DELTA FORCE game...
I was sold until I heard and saw operators it fully takes away the immersion. Hearing a dozen of the same character voices doing a action, ie throwing a grenade or calling out infantry. Is it that hard for dice or other devs to understand? to add faction based uniforms for the infantry.
Colourblind gamer here, and those chemlights would be utterly useless for IFF. Having said that, the COD>BF gameplay, hero classes, magic drones and the laughable inclusion of a hunting bow are all instant and massive turn-offs anyway.
Scifi drone and dash jump abilities are similar to neither - and especially to anything Delta Force. Im not gonna take the credit for it, but its clearly a Delta Farce.
BF3 and 4 you could tell which classes people were and they still looked like normal soldiers while still being able to designate who was what and we never had issues of which team they were on.
I miss the old original Delta Force games. This looks closer to a mix of the current BF2042 and CoD generations put together, but that's what the market typically wants. I'd like to see the larger maps with large field of play, Squad style, and it looks like that might be a reality with it. Something else I'll miss from it is the custom maps which really made it more enjoyable, but I'd guess with this being free to play they probably won't have that mixed in. Squad fills the gap left by DF to some degree, but it's just plagued with it's older engine limitations, bugs, and general optimization issues. If they can find some way to resolve 2 parts of that and add in cross play, they'd be able to actually support/fund a proper Squad 2 development with a newer engine. A small one Squad does do today but needs some work to have it implemented seamlessly without user intervention, custom maps in general server rotations with auto download during play (not before joining the server the first time). That adds some uniqueness to playing without having to have a full mod on top of it. CoD4 could pull that off and it made for a really enjoyable experience when you got tired of shipment for the 9th time that night. Still excited to see what DF:HO brings when it comes out, and surprised to see one after all these years.
Screw this dumb ass trend where the enemy team has the same character and vehicle models as my team + stupid identification lights on characters. What ever happened to proper factions smh. Aside from immersion sake, it makes it easier to identify friend from foe. Be it vehicles or player models.
No matter how fun the gameplay ends up being, the monetization is gonna be egregious. I'll be giving this one a HARD pass. Honestly, what's the deal with East Asian game devs and their heavily monetized f2p games? Like, yeah, Western devs do it as well, but it seems like the CN/JP/KR devs take it to the next level every time.
I don’t like the ‘operators’ I want generic soldiers from real countries (factions). This is surely a monetization point for this game, so it’s sadly understandable. Overall this looks more Battlefield than the mess known as 2042. EA/DICE is lost.
I disagree. I'm a battlefield fan and I (like many others) was disappointed by the launch of 2042. And I think its time that battlefield had competition. Real competition. And I think this game is going to show what a foran game studio can do in the FPS space when given the resources and the money.
Honestly, I am very very happy that this game will have proper in depth weapon customisation, very similar to WW3 allowed you to customise your weapon however you wanted. This level of weapon customisation for your guns is very rarely seen in FPS games nowdays. The fact that players will be able to create many different versions of the same weapon but have them perform completely different to one another is just massive. Another thing I am super happy about, is the destruction in the game. Only battlefield was able to pull of large scale destruction, and it was well known for that feature. But now that another game studio is implementing large scale destruction in this FPS game, makes me super excited. Overall the devs of this game seem to be doing everything right from the start as supposed to how battlefield 2042 did everything wrong from the start of its launch. And even tho this new delta force game is going to have "what they are calling operators" even they look wartorn and look like they fit within a battlefield zone than 2042s specialist. I am excited for this game, and I think that a lot of battlefield players (myself included) will indeed jump on this game at launch. Afterall, it's going free to play.
BF4 is the last Battlefield that I played intensely. I tried the BFV and 2042 open betas and decided against it. Now years later I'm really - REALLY feeling that itch of a casual-ish large scale shooter. I hope the game turns out well.
Sounds about right. They killed Battlefield with the terrible content they have putting out. After Battlefield 4 things just tanked. This looks like a blast from the past and pretty exciting!
Maybe I'm a bit biased not having played a Delta Force game before, but why are there so many dislikes on this video? Sure, Moi's other recent video definitely wasn't great, but this is quite different. It's not a shill, and the game genuinely looks like it could be fun. What's wrong with Moi creating a video on a game he is relatively excited about? The only complaint I have is that the title is slightly clickbait-y.
Of course it’s not actually battlefield lol. Can’t say I have much hope considering how ww3 didn’t go that well. I’ll at least check it out considering the gameplay and customization looks a bit interesting, and it being on all platforms makes it accessible.
The game feels and looks super arcadey, I feel they've missed the mark and it looks like a kids game- I mean it's 2024 and big game studios like this are still using cringe scripted death animations instead of natural ragdoll.
Really was hoping it was gonna be more like Six Days in Fallujah, like wrapped around the Black Hawk Down scenario, it is more than likely to shit the bed like every FPS tactical shooter has been this year, it's definitely the year for indie games though, fuck all that extra shit like special operators and COD / Battlefield nowadays, might end up like CROWZ or World War 3 lol

I'm gonna be honest, based on the video it is just a copy of Battlefield 2042 with some tiny changes and a different studio. Maybe a bit of COD mixed in, but that's about it. I'm a bit fed up with the "fake-modern" tech and the very arcade-y game play of such games. If Dice stick with Battlefield 3/4 and just made some visual revamps and new updated engine, physics and some extra weapons and accessories plus new maps, it would still be the king of the genre. But now it's the cheap little brother of COD, or even worse :D
Just a quick reminder: BF or COD doesn't have a server based in CN, still, millions of players play BF and COD with VPN on JP or EU servers regardless (just think about how many cheaters you have encountered in BF and COD with mandarin name tags). Delta Force will have a dedicated server based in CN, so 1. this game will not fade away like WW3 cuz there wasn't any next gen BF/COD like game formally released in mainland China before, so literally every BF/COD even Tarkov fan in mainland CN will play this as a replacement that doesn't require a VPN. 2. This game would have a cleaner gaming envi with way less cheaters from mainland CN. a dedicated CN server means less cheaters outside of mainland CN server, and Tencent, unlike DICE is pretty harsh on cheaters (Tencent games in CN normally would require people login with their daily social network account such as WeChat or QQ account, and they are largely verified by Tencent with people's real-life ID, thus if an account got banned, the social account behind this account would be blacklisted and it is going to be very hard for this person to open up a new account to log back in to the game and cheat again, unless using someone else's ID) so it would be a win-win situation for both the players within and outside of mainland CN.
Last time I played WW3 there was so much visual stuttering it became annoying to play after just a few minutes. The actual gameplay was okay, but it also lacked proper balance or anything to keep me playing
@@Igzilee you should come back. The new devs actually fully migrated the whole infrastructure back to their HQ now so the performance is much better. Game is tighter and you can join tac ops games easily
