It can destroy "a couple of tanks" under extraordinary circumstances. No tank would ever allow this thing to get close enough, but if it did, it has enough explosives to destroy a tank or a couple of them if they are close to each other. Just because something is armoured, doesn't mean it is indestructible. The shockwave from the explosion itself would probably rupture all the organs of the crews inside a tank.

The bars are actually a really old design to fight anti-tank rockets. There are pictures of T-34’s and Panzer IV’s with them, and even one of a Panzerfaust rocket caught in a T-34’s. Those were bed springs a lot of the time, but still essentially the same thing

It’s like the explosives in a grenade. them by itself wouldn’t do too much damage but the shrapnel created by the grenades casing causes most of the damage (hence why pineapple grenades for example are really good and the shrapnel is nearly the same deadly pieces every time because of the individual premade squares). Basically this would be a giant grenade
