- From a "jihadi university" in the Syrian city of Raqqa, the scientists have stunned western weapons experts by producing a homemade thermal battery for surface-to-air missiles.
It had been regarded as a virtually impossible feat for terror groups working without a military infrastructure.
But footage exclusively obtained by Sky News shows that IS can now recommission thousands of missiles assumed by western governments to have been redundant through old age.

I'm not confident any nation in NATO/EU/any country in the US sphere of influence would've done it, but at the same time I don't see any other country feeling the need to support them, nor having any reason to do so, but even then if they are getting funded then they're doing a pretty bad job at hiding it, because it seems they're getting a LOT of attention, which would imply that there hasn't really been an effort to cover up these incredible works, so its possible this is in fact genuinely homemade. The feats of Islam grows.
