Welcome to my RUclips channel! I'm Catarina Rivera, also known as Blindish Latina. In my first video, I share my journey of living with Usher Syndrome, a condition that has left me deaf-blind. I was born hard of hearing and wore hearing aids since I was a toddler. At 17, I was diagnosed with Usher Syndrome, which also affects my vision, causing tunnel vision and night blindness.
Despite these challenges, I have adapted and embraced my disabilities. My passion for disability pride and confidence drives me to advocate for the disabled community. I love sharing my life and interests, including my love for tea, dancing, vegetarian food, nature, art, and travel.
I travel full-time, exploring new cultures and connecting with people, while promoting sustainable travel and supporting local businesses. As the founder of Blind-ish Latina, I offer speaking and consulting services on disability awareness, inclusion, and accessibility.
