Not all attempts. Monterey Bay Aquarium has had the most luck keeping Great Whites in captivity. The sharks would eat regularly, and they wouldn’t repeatedly bump themselves into the sides of the tank and injure themselves by doing so. Those Great Whites DID eventually need to be released back into the wild, though, because eventually they started getting territorial and attacking the other sharks in their tanks.

This shark is the only animal outside of Sperm Whale known to eat Giant Squids, and we have no idea of how, just like everything else on this list (outside of the plastic) because it's so damn slow that it's genuinely puzzling how it could even catch these

I don't know how much it's made me think about how scary the ocean is, but it sure as heck made me a lot more interested in fish. When I was younger, I knew some people into fish but never thought I would be one. Now with this channel, I'm way more aware of interesting things like lanternfish or just how unlikely it is for the megalodon to be around nowadays.
I´m so happy the Epaulette got GOAT`D. It´s my all time favorite shark and has been so since i was like 12 and still is as I´m pursuing my dream to become a marine-biologist myself, they actually might be the reason i wanted to persue this profession in the first place. Tbh I think he was just winging it. This tier list doesn’t really make sense, especially when considering the adaptations and evolutions of the sharks in their environments. Not to mention, a lot of the points he brought up weren’t really valid.

The thing always I heard about Greenland sharks is that a lot of them are blind. Something about parasites attaching themselves to the sharks cornea and eating away at it. That and they're thought not to be sexually mature until ~100 years old. Made it through the video and they didn't mention the chained cat shark. One of my favorites. It's bioflorescent, fairly small, and it's a deep sea shark. May not be the most impressive, but pretty cool in my opinion.

Dogfish also have a downside when it comes to human impact. They are practically blind and tend to just eat whatever comes in their path. That leads to them being impacted heavily by both pollution and fishing (they're a very common catch for fluke and flounder fishermen)
Some other sharks to consider: Port Jackson, Horned Shark, Porbeagle, Catsharks, Bronze whalers, Gulper sharks, bramble sharks, Salmon sharks, leopard sharks, and bullheads

Definitely an amazing, informative, hilarious video, but I disagree SEVERELY with the placement of a few species. The silky, being a typical, sleek, oceanic predator shark with nothing extra cool, should be right next to the Blue Shark. The Spiny Dogfish should be in D tier. It's a derpy, dwarf, delicious bottom-feeder with an extra-long pregnancy. Oceanic Whitetip should trade places with Dwarf Lanternshark. I'm sorry, but that is how I see a coolness-based Tier List.

Bull Sharks are totally GOATed. GOAT tier is full of effective sharks with super unique adaptations, and Bull Sharks 100% belong tthere. There's like FOUR things they do amazing. 1. They're the only shark that can live in fresh water, and that's terrifying. What other shark can you jump in the Mississippi River and run into? 2. The strongest bite force of any Shark. Kind of speaks for itself. 3. They're BIG. Not the longest, but they're so beefy. Fits the name perfectly. 4. They're one of the most aggressive. Combine those all together and you have one of the most dangerous Sharks, which just so happens to ALSO be one of the ones you're most likely to run into.

Epaulette is S-tier because not only is it able to use its pectoral fins to walk on land, it can also be out of the water (and thus not breathing) for upwards of 3 hours

I feel like this list is'nt very fair to some actually pretty cool sharks. It's more about unique adaptations then it is about practicality and eFISHency.
The Mega-mouth shark watching the Whale Shark and Basking shark that are just larger version of himself getting a higher ranking even tho it is the most mysterious of the three.

Bull Sharks are totally GOATed. GOAT tier is full of effective sharks with super unique adaptations, and Bull Sharks 100% belong tthere. There's like FOUR things they do amazing.
1. They're the only shark that can live in fresh water, and that's terrifying. What other shark can you jump in the Mississippi River and run into?
2. The strongest bite force of any Shark. Kind of speaks for itself.
3. They're BIG. Not the longest, but they're so beefy. Fits the name perfectly.
4. They're one of the most aggressive.
Combine those all together and you have one of the most dangerous Sharks, which just so happens to ALSO be one of the ones you're most likely to run into.
