Why do you think it is a smart idea to switch out the candidate less then 5 months from the election🤣? Think logically. If Biden is truly sick Kamala will take the lead if he is only a little sick the democrats have a decent team to cover for him. President are essentially CEOs at the end of the day their job is to lead and delegate. Biden will simply be delegating more. Trump has bankrupted his businesses multiple times so although he has experience as a CEO his track record is ridiculously inconsistent.

The talking point of “the stakes are too high!” is exactly the point. The stakes are too damn high to chance Joe having any more episodes like he had at the debate. We can’t chance it! Joe needs to serve out his term and throw all his energy into the next nominee. Just because he doesn’t run again, doesn’t mean he just vanishes into thin air. He can be the biggest champion of the party’s next leader and be revered for the work of his term. Why would they walk back on honesty? Biden has zero chance of winning at this point. The only thing I disagree with TYT on is their belief that another candidate could win. At this point, the cards have been played, and Dems have a guaranteed losing hand. The only ones to blame are the Democrat party and all the Dem politicians that have been lying to voters the past 4 years about Bidens' health as well as the Democrat media that helped spread the lies. All they can do at this point is learn from this and do better in 2028. They could start by not betting their entire campaign on attempts to use the court to keep the Republican nominee from running. That's what they did, and it completely backfired.
@larryc1616 - Their solution is to put up a different nominee. They've been very clear on that in pretty much every video. The thing is though, there is no solution at this point. Trump will 100% win this election, not because he's a better candidate but because Democrats just now realized their party has been lieing to them the past 4 years and bet their futures on a failed legal battle with the competition.

After hearing Biden implicity threaten Joe Scarborough and Mika Brezinski in that telephone call to the show, I am wondering if Biden is resorting to out-and-out threats to his detractors. Even if he is, they must show some courage and resolve. Some things are worth fighting for.

Read about the 1968 Democratic convention and the discord that resulted. Humphrey became the loosely supported nominee. Does anyone remember a President Hubert Humphry? No candidate would be wholeheartedly supported by the democratic party. The convention could end with a large number of angry dems!

She's going for the White House in 2028. After Biden (i) drops out or (ii) loses to Trump, AOC joins Democrats opposing Trump, but as an establishment Democrat who remained "loyal" to Biden during his darkest hour--unlike Nancy Pelosi, for Whom the Bell Tolls in terms of age.
Democratic donors see this--including those funding presidential bids. To them, AOC is truly onboard and can be trusted with real power. By backing Biden, AOC exhibits a "Profile in Courage" to Democratic Donors. She's showing that even though she knows Biden's loss of mental acuity is the reason why children are being slaughtered in Gaza, she's good with that. She's down with it. She's a Ready for Prime Time Player for the White House in 2028.
TYT was correct in 2020 that Biden shouldn't be the nominee. Biden's low polls in 2024 are a problem, but replacing him at this point is not a solution.
But we are going to lose anyway with Biden so might as well offer the country an alternative. Both parties lets face it, don't like neither candidate. Offering a Whitmer for example would provide someone fresh. The country is desperate for a fresh face and one that offers stabillity. For whatever gripes people had with Obama, he did give the country stabillity.

Let's be realistic. The Democrats put all their eggs in one basket. It is way too late to introduce a new candidate. You can't have everything, we just have to get behind Biden and not be divisive.
In other words, get in line and enable them to continue doing what they having been doing for a long time now. Prove to them that they can do whatever the big donors will tell them to do and people will keep falling in line as long as you keep telling them the other side is even worse.
