Yep! the rule of the assassins creed developers was the targets were real people that they try to make them die “when and where” they died in history. this is quite common to see. You see parallels in assassins creed stories and history. Example: John Pitcairn died at the battle of bunker hill. In AC3 Connor sneaks off to the British camp during the battle of bunker hill and assassinates him This isn’t always the case though. Robert de Sables was at the battle of Arsuf on September 7 1191. He died 2 years later. In AC Altair confronts him at the battle of Arsuf and kills him there. Sometimes they have to change things buts I always find it cool when they’re able to tie in the events in history.
