Come to Paris with me! THREE Paris flea markets! Two trips next year - visit: www.parisiennefarmgirl.com/pariswithangela/Thank you for being here! I'm sorry we missed the Premiere. We couldn't access it.
I went to Paris during a full moon and stayed in the Montmatre section. It was in May which was cloudy and rainy. But on the night of the full moon, while standing on the steps of the Sacre Couer, the clouds moved aside to allow the moon its full glory over the city, and it was breath taking. One of my sweetest memories from that trip. (ps because of that night, I always plan my trips during a full moon!)
I feel this way when I go to the Rocky Mountains in Wyoming. This is where I grew up. I now live in a state with no mountains and forget sometimes the young me that was. For me, I don’t have to travel to a different country to find me. I have traveled to several different countries during my long life but never have that same feeling. I know just how you feel. Thanks for reminding us that we too can go to wherever it is that makes us whole.
“Paris appeals to the artist’s heart” was my favorite line of your narration. I’ve trained my eyes to look for that beauty everyday, wherever I am to feed my soul. ❤
I savored this video, watching with glee for you and your girls! Love that you call out the Pantheon...I used to live back behind it (Place de la Contrascarpe) and passed it every day, entering often. And of course the exquisite perfection of all things Laduree. You look like an elegant Parisienne, madame!
I am going for a month over Christmas - i too am a farm girl at heart and return back to re-find myself as well throughout the upheavals of life - beautiful footage - beautiful books in the intro!
I am so happy for you! After dreaming of Paris since I was 12 years old, I finally got to go three years ago at 47. I am so sad that I waited so long, but still happy I went. I am hoping to go back again soon and not wait so long this time. Thank you for letting me live vicariously through your beautiful video! Viva Paris!
My friend and I were just in Paris for two weeks. I loved watching this video and seeing all the places we visited. We also spent a week driving around the French countryside visiting several villages and staying three nights in a chateau. It was an amazing trip…worth waiting a lifetime for since it was canceled three times due to the pandemic. I know exactly what you meant when you found your inner friend when you returned. It is a magical city and when you find your lost self there, it breathes a sense of wonder and life back into you. One must return again and again.
It’s been 12 years since my trip to Paris. I miss the efficiency of the public transportation enabling me to visit the world’s best art museums in minutes. And the architecture is so fabulous. The history. Everything.
I lived in several countries in Europe, and at some, we were very close to Paris, so we visited often. When I saw the fire that almost destroyed Montmartre it was close and personal to me. That red toile was stunning, I hope you bought it. What a treat to your daughters to make such a meaningful trip early in their lives. TFS!
Oh my goodness, Angela, what a great little video! The best one I’ve seen for a real taste of Paris! I’m so glad you got to go and I look forward to more videos. You have such a talent for creating beautiful content!
Thanks for sharing Angela! Such a lovely vlog. Your girls are great videographers! It brings back memories for me as well! I haven’t been back in 43 years! Hubby has, when he went to bring his grandmother back to Montreal over 30 years ago!
My 36 hours in Paris were the week after Bastille Day of 1983 during a historic heat wave. The 90 degree heat would be a cake walk in Texas with our cold AC, rivers of iced tea and cold beer, but the Parisians I encountered seemed irritable and just done with having another non-French speaker to deal with. If I get to go in retirement, I'd love to go in "sweater weather" and take time to shop, shop, shop. @Parisienne Farmgirl do tell us during this journey how you handled customs and carrying or shipping your goodies home. Blessings!
Oh my! Your words describe how I feel. I was fortunate enough to have lived in Paris when I was in high school. I dream of the city and have awoken with tears longing for more time there. I myself am 30 years older than the girl who found herself in Paris and, finally, after two decades I am going back. I am so glad you still found your live for Paris as a part of me fears the change, of it and of myself, may tarnish the tender memories I have.
Angela, this video gave me goosebumps. As you said, the posh consumer world of Paris looks fun, but I want the art, architecture, the food experience, and most of all the flea markets. The items at a flea market have many stories to tell. Looking forward to next October.
You expressed today exactly how I feel about France in general and Paris in particular. Each word today hit its mark in my heart. I was fortunate to live in France for some years and I miss it so much. I left part of me behind when I closed the doors on our home - but - Paris is still there and for those fortunate enough to be able to travel and enjoy her I wish you every joy imaginable. Thank you Angela. xx
France and Paris in particular feel like a life I lived in the past. They never get old. My goal is to see as many places in the world as possible but I have to be careful since France always beckons me like a cozy, beautiful memory. Just spent a month there in June and uploaded 5 videos to my channel that I will savor when the memory fades. So wonderful that you got to experience that with your daughters.
What a beautiful Intro Angela... I'm going to enjoy seeing Paris through your eyes... It's been a long time since I last spent time outside of America... Travel for me often proves to be the rediscovery of the best of myself... I'm excited 😘💕
There truly is nothing like it ♥️ I’ve not been anywhere either but Paris and I had a tremendous emotional response. It was everything I’d hoped and heard of . I wish I had done more, seen more bc I will never get back, but I am so thankful I saw it once🙏🏼💙
So lovely! How do you not get completely overwhelmed by the beauty of everything: art, architecture, food, etc?! I look forward to your future videos. 💕
Wow! Such a beautiful place. When I saw you walking by those mirrors, I almost fainted they were so stunning. Then the toile fabric, gorgeous. The architecture in Paris is beyond words, just fantastic. You look like you fit right in and live there. Love your outfits, gorgeous! Can't wait for more installments of your trip. Hugs and blessings
I returned to Paris a month ago with my son and daughter-in-law. It had been 28 years since my first trip there. Oh what a joy it was to revisit. Thank you for bringing back those memories again!
This touched my heart in so many ways, Angela, so I'll share my brief story here: I didn't get to live that picturesque study-abroad college experience that I had always dreamed of. My father died unexpectedly when I was 19 and so I put my dream of living abroad away so that I could run his business and take care of his estate. Years later after I had finally graduated and was working a stressful full-time job I was STILL unhappy. I yearned to fulfill that dream of living abroad. So in a matter of 2 weeks' time I had put in my notice at work and bought myself a one-way ticket to Ireland. What ended up being a spur-of-the-moment decision led to 1 year of backpacking Europe, falling in love, and moving to Germany where I wound up working and studying for 2 years. I spoke the language like a native, lived free like I never had before, and my trauma healed itself entirely. I found a part of me that was spontaneous, brave, unique, and vulnerable and to this day a piece of my soul will always belong there, in Germany. I've got 3 tiny kiddos now and a homestead I run with my high school sweetheart and even though I feel it may never happen, I so look forward to doing exactly what you just did for yourself. To say 'oh, hello you' to that courageous girl I found so long ago.
I knew you would still love it. I’m glad they loved it too. I used to think that all the Paris mania was just hype until I went to France. I love it so much. Paris is my favorite city except for New York which is near where I was born. Giverny may be the most beautiful place I have ever seen. We’re headed back to Europe next month and I cannot wait to see new places. Sainte Chapelle literally took my breath away. Loved seeing this.
Thank you for sharing the experience you had . I so love it. I'm a huge fan of France always have been. Even when I was young . My French name in grade school French class was believe it or not ADELE. I chose that name so many years ago not to hear it again until the English singer Adele. I was so surprised to have that serendipity. Love everything you do to bring your version of France here on line and also to take us truly there. Wishing myself there in the future. Who knows maybe with your group one day. P.S. also love the southern part of France.
I went to Paris when I was 18 and truly look forward to the next time I can return! I am 35 now 😂 its been a while ❤ I also loved Giverny. Monet's gardens were my first inspiration for me to start gardening.
I see the Sacre Coeur...I know you're not Catholic, but you might enjoy a video from The Remnant Video channel called "guardian of tradition". It's a short documentary of a beautiful walking pilgrimage to the Chartres Cathedral that is historical and was done recently. It was beautiful. All about Christian community. Since you yourself love to restore the old...you would probably resonate with the people there...they tend to be part of the Traditional Catholic Church (think Latin, incense, beautiful fabric and heavenly music) which is under persecution now. It's worth the time to feel the love and hope in the cinematography. These are the people trying to restore the beauty of the church, including architecture, that has been lost since the 60s.
@@ParisienneFarmgirl enjoy! The last part when they get to the cathedral and pray together is a tear jerker. In bleak times, God is restoring beautiful things, including the family.
As do I. France was known as the “Eldest Daughter of the Church” . Is that still so? I love all the France milieu that has influenced the podcasts, but is their soul still Catholic?
Yes! I'm an evangelical Christian that totally loved the experience of that video! My devotion to our Lord paired with my facination with Chartres from childhood made it doubly special. Good thought!
I loved this video so much! You put to words my same feelings about Paris. It’s so wonderful you got to share it with your daughters! I have been to Paris twice in my younger days and I would love to take my daughters some day. Thank you for sharing this with us.:)
What a fabulous video - the cinematography and commentary. I recently read Mrs Harris Goes to Paris and so was excited to see some video clips of Dior. So wonderful that you could experience this again with your two daughters and looking forward to all your upcoming videos. : )

Have you noticed the number of homeless people sleeping on the streets? It saddened me to see them . The situation there has changed greatly in the last decade...
Ok, Angela this looks amazing but also, speaking of looking amazing, I’m obsessed with the green striped top you’re wearing!! It looks so great on you, and I also want it! Haha could you share the brand please?
Man, I turn 50 next year. My dream has to always been to go to Paris. I seriously would love to make this happen. 😅 I’ve had plans twice to go and both times something happened to where I couldn’t go.
Way to go,, i hope you all got home and watched " Mrs Harris goes to Paris,, " super cute,,, Also there is a Christian US College in a Castle, you probably know this,, great opportunity for your children,, All your hard work allowed you to return,, Time for Americans to go when the US dollar is so close to the Euro,, ENJOY
I don’t mean anything toward you, but it blows my mind when people treat our beautiful churches as museums. I was born a catholic and remain a faithful catholic. It just hurts my heart when people do that, including other Catholics that have no clue. Would any other religion allow this? I don’t believe so. I know people are not aware of this but it is a place of worship for many Catholics around the world. Many of our churches in the US are just as beautiful, including my own 200 year old church here in the US. God Bless you and thank you for showing the beauty of the churches.
I can appreciate your videos and I sent you a check to receive a hardcopy of your magazine. To date, no magazine has been sent. I spent $44.00 and received nothing by mail! Sooooo disappointed!
