How much should you be paying attention to swing technique? Something I’m working on in my golf swing is to push my butt back as I start the downswing. When I swing the superspeed clubs I’m only focused on trying to swing as fast as possible, which def results in a much bigger backswing(arguably an over-swing). So I guess, is it about getting the fastest swing possible, or the fastest while not getting away from an on course swing(technique wise)!?
What I read so far is that it doesnt realy matter. Just try to swing as hard as you can. You are trying to train your brain to give you all the power you actually have and break a neurological barrier. If you are training your technique regularly 3 session of 18 swings wont break your swing.
Hi, it says it based on the neuromuscular memory. I can not understand logic of that. Is it not bettet to swing first the lightest one in oder to learn to swing as fast you can then the haviest one in order to learn to swing maximal weight as fast as you can and at the end the middle one. I have done an experiment and I swung with middle stick faster as if I did it after the lightest one. Thanks.
Thanks for being a SuperSpeed user Chad! You will train with Level 1 for 5 weeks before moving to level 2. Checkout our training site train.superspeedgolf.com/ where you can find the levels and duration of each
Hello there, I did the first week of this program and the first training of week 2 and became ill for 5 days. What is the best? Do my second training of week 2 with 5 days rest between training 1 and 2? Or shall ik do the first training of week 2 again? I assume there is not much difference between the 2? Can you confirm that? Best regards from the Netherlands
Hi, I got mine a couple of weeks ago, although they are still in the box lol!! I will definitely be starting on this program early next year! Would you advise 3 spaced days a week, eg Mon, Wed, Fri, or can you mix and match? I'm asking as I'll be doing these outside of course, and UK weather is very mixed to say the least!! Many thanks Andrew
I am a 69 year old 14 handicap that can only hit the driver about 220 and a 7 iron 145. Because of back surgeries my backswing is short. Would I get any noticeable benefit from your product?
Hello, we strongly recommend using a radar to track and quantify speed gains during training with both the SuperSpeed clubs and also your driver. We recommend the PRGR, here is a link to our listing superspeedgolf.com/collections/all-products/products/prgr-black-pocket-launch-monitor
@@SuperSpeedGolf can you please explain how you recommend the PRGR to be used in conjunction with this training. I have just got a set and while I have viewed this video, I’m not sure how I should be measuring things… with a driver before and after or with the sticks during, I’m just training in garden and don’t have net set up
@@stevieobrien Hi Stephen, at a minimum we recommend measuring your driver speed (with or without a ball) before you begin your SuperSpeed training. From there you can check your driver speed before or after any session. We recommend tracking your SuperSpeed club speeds as youo train to know your fastest with each to be able to keep track and push yourself during training.
@@SuperSpeedGolf thanks. So I can test driver speed without ball in garden before kicking off training protocol. I have a question If I just swing for speed I can make out at 125mph with the light. If I use my swing on the course I will lose 15mph of my speed. Is it best to swing you normal swing or swing for max speed ?
As an example, I was at 110, my target was 120+, I achieved that, then backed off a little, now I’m a steady 115, and I never feel like I’m swinging as hard as I can.
sorry don't understand "By exercise to do move the different moves" I have done Normal swing and step change swing last training day : Green : 121.4 / 109 (best weak side but lower strong side) Blue : 117 / 106 (best weak side but lower strong side) Red : 114 / 99.5 (Best so far) And with step change Green : 114/81 Blue : 111/89 Red : 108/Mess up my record on weak hand I have trouble to gain speed with step change. Does time of the day matter for this training? I am thinking of doing the training first thing in the morning with proper stretch prior. Will this affect the results?
Hi James, thanks for the comment. This varies from person to person. Personally I train in the morning and recommend mornings. After a proper stretch your body is as fresh as it's going to be!
Tip the best stretch ( no such thing ) is to swing a club , stretching in sport science terms is pointless.. for example if I’m going to kick a ball I will kick a ball to warm up and activate the correct muscles, if I’m going to squat I will squat to warm up , the same applies to golf , swing a club to warm up .,,and on “ stretching let’s say you do some form of hip stretch and hold it for 30 seconds to 2 min , well a few minutes later that muscle or flexor that was stretched is back to exactly the same pliability as it was before.
I’m 4 weeks in. I have to take 10 days off. When I start up again do I finish up the 2 weeks left to go? Or should I add a week to make up for the time off?
Being in your 50's isn't old! Our recommendation is the same for all players knowing that your speeds main not be as fast mine. If you want to gain speed, you have to train aggressively. Complete our warm up and train with max effort! If you are dealing with injuries or ailments prior to training, ensure those are addressed by a medical professional
Sorry to hear about this. Did you complete a warmup before you started training? Here is the link to our warmups, train.superspeedgolf.com/warm-up/ We recommend this be completed before every session
Protocol 1 is to get you to crank up the volume by making the video super soft. Then blast out your ears drums with super loud intro music to get your heart pumping
Want to limit injuries if you are getting hurt using this system? Lose 1 swing per set of work. It makes a world of difference. I actually see more gains with my clients. Cheers all.
Thanks for the video
I got a junior set
My speed improved from 54 to 63 to 70!
I am still 10 after all 😄
