"Maybe Link is holding back." The thief was slashed with a sword several times, had 70 silver arrows fired into his body, set on fire, smashed with a hammer, took several explosions at nearly point blank, and stabbed with a grappling hook. If that's "holding back", remind me to never make Link pissed off.
but then again, some Links are pretty weak, like "The Hero of Trains" or "Hero of the Minish" they wouldn't really pose much of a threat when the best they have to offer is either calling on a ghost of Zelda, or shrinking to the size of grass
@@HCN-002OldChannel both of the powers you mentioned actually make them pretty dangerous. the former can possess you and make you lose your will to fight entirely, and the latter could get inside your head in a far more literal sense, manipulating your brain and potentially being able to shut down vital organs. not all links need brute strength to be threatening, you know. List of enemies in Link To The Past that are invincible at least to my knowledge 1. Ball: A small ball that rolls around trying to crush you. Found in Eastern Palace 2. Gargantuan Ball: Similar to a ball but larger in size 3. Beamos: A statue with a rotating eye that shoots laser beams at Link if it sees him. Unlike later incarnations that are weak to Bombs or Arrows the Beamoses in Link To The Past are pretty much invincible. 4. Boulder: Pretty much speaks for itself. It's a rock and it crushes you and it hurts a lot. 5. Guruguru Bar: Weird name. It's a bar made of fire that rotates around. 6. Laser Eye: An eye on the wall that shoots lasers across the room 7. Medusa: A statue that looks like a snake's head that shoots fire at you. 8. Bubble Group: A group of Bubbles that guards a switch in the Eastern Palace. Unlike normal Bubbles they cannot be defeated with Magic Powder and are thus invincible. 9. Spark: Unlike later incarnations that are weak to the Boomerang Sparks in this game are immune to it and are thus invincible. 10. Spiked Roll: A roll of spikes that rolls around the room. They are wide and therefore hard to avoid. Found in Turtle Rock. 11. Trap: Short for Blade Trap. Traps are spiked balls of nastiness that litter dungeons especially later on. Some are stationary but others bounce around. Yellow Traps are larger in size and will spring towards Link if he is in their proximity. 12. Wall Turret: A turret lodged in a wall that shoots cannon fire at you. Unlike the Wind Waker incarnation that can be defeated with about 2 hits from a Boomerang or one hit from a well time Bomb Wall Turrets In Link To The Past are invincible and are weak against neither of the 2 weapons. 13. Winder: Also known as a Moldola. In Spirit Tracks it's weak to arrows. In any other games it appeared in it's pretty much invincible. 14. Yomo Medusa: A Medusa that shoots fire out in four directions and will fire constantly as long as Link has his sword drawn. 15. Chain Chomp: A ball and chain with the ball on the end sporting a face with sharp teeth. It's chain is made of spikes. I only found 2 of these in the entire game and they were both found in one room inside Turtle Rock. 16. Thief: Already explained in the video. You can knock them away and if you knock them far enough they may lose interest in you if you are out of their range but other then that they can't be defeated. 17. Piku: Similar to a Thief. It's a fox enemy found in the Village of Outcasts. It behaves no different then the Thieves found in the Lost Woods. The only difference is the design. Also keep in mind that there are also enemies that CAN be defeated but you cannot truly get rid of them because they spawn infinitely. These include Kyamerons, Wallmasters, sometimes Zols, sometimes Wizzrobes, Zoros, and Piragasus.
I think what gives the Thief the nod is that the others are made of things like rock or metal; it makes sense that you can't destroy them. The thief is just a dude.
Wow, I have no idea how you found all this out. I have played the game before and I barely remember half of the enemies you described... I have to commend you for your efforts there.
At the beginning of the video, I said something along the lines of "Oh, alright, then. I guess I can make one video about a FF super boss, especially as the one I have in mind isn't so well-known."
The Gerudo thieves from Ocarina of Time are the same. Even if you hit one with the hookshot and then cut them with your sword they are just knocked unconscious. They get back up when you leave or get caught.
The one snipe I can think of for the Thief is that he doesn't do damage to your lifebar. As for the Link's Awakening shopkeeper... I once tried using the Potion to survive his little outburst. It didn't work.
I'm not sure if anyone can access this anymore, but back in early Maplestory, there was a hacked boss known as The White Lady, Muriel. She did 25555 damage per hit(regardless of defense, Max HP is 30000) had an insane amount of HP and MP, and Even if you were strong enough to kill her, she would split into two, both copies with full health, and still as powerful as ever. So basically, kill as much as you can, then give up. So if at all possible, youtube it, find her, and try her.
You think the Thief is bad? Shopkeeper. Link's Awakening. Not only is he immortal, he can kill you in a single magic attack and change your name to THIEF forever.
@Threadnaught I think it's best not to think about it too much, really. Even the official timeline released a little while back had some inconsistencies. I only reason I mentioned Ganon/Ganondorf in this video is because, despite the power he has, he can't hope to match the strength of a simple thief.
I did not include Deadrocks because you can defeat them and normal Bubbles with Magic Powder. Rabbit Beams are weak to the Bombos Medallion and also die if they crash into any solid object or wall.
@Threadnaught In the official chronology, Ganondorf first appearance was in Ocarina of Time, if you played that game, you know that Ganondorf transforms in the final battle into the monster you see in A Link To The Past, which is technically a sequel to Ocarina of Time, based on the chronology.
Oh... those damn things. In a world of things you must kill, they are an anomaly: you *have* to let them win or you *will* regret it. For this reason, they can be more annoying than anything else in the game. The Dark World ones are quite creepy, too.
@whoisthisgit I could've sworn that Ganon and Ganondorf were seperate entities. Ganon being the manbearpig ultimate evil and Ganondorf being the man, the vessel. Essentially Ganon can come back without the Triforce, but Ganondorf needs it otherwise he's mortal.
Oh no, that was simply comparing the Final Fantasy superbosses to the 16-Block from the Parodius game. Whilst the superbosses are very strong, it is possible to kill them all. With 16-Bit Block, you're not given enough time to kill it.

add the chickens then it will be a clash even greater than link and ganon

Thief is real. Shopkeeper only exists in the mindscape. Thief would win. Unless of course the Shopkeeper enters his mind. Then the Thief is screwed.
Who would win in a battle between the chickens and the thief? O.o
