You should definitely check out popular monster. That's how I got reintroduced to them. I new their stuff from 2011 or 2012 ish and it wasn't for me. Never listen to them since thinking that's what they were. Cut to 11 years later and I heard popular monster on the radio thinking to myself this isn't FIR must be a screw up. Got home, check out video and Ronnie and Ben hooked ever since and mad at myself for judging and missing years of great music.
The dude getting bombed by laptops represents Sebastian Bach of Skid Row, who criticized Ronnie online after Falling In Reverse was forced to cancel a festival show because all their laptops went missing. Ronnie fought back ferociously as usual, lol. I also think of the 2019 movie Brightburn, with the eye lasers. The Superman story, but the child is an alien psychopath. "About to go Darth, about to go Disney" during the podium scene. Not only Star Wars, but Disney Star Wars :)
Welcome down the rabbithole where all of the musical arts become expertly blended into one of the greatest genres of all time. We simply call it: RADKE!!! Enjoy the journey....you will never be the same again.
If you want to hear him really sing watch The Drug in Me Is Reimagined or their cover of last resort reimagined And he just did a country song with Jelly Roll a couple of weeks ago called All My Life. Enjoyed both Falling In Reverse reactions. Can’t wait to see more.
I love that you love this, your reactions made me happy and your face during the video! - Not sure yet if you watched "Last Resort - Reimagined" but that and then WTWB got me addicted.
The order to watch is... 1) Popular Monster 2) Loosing My Life 3) Loosing My Mind 4) Drugs (this ends the trilogy of 2,3 & 4) 5) Zombified 6) Watch The World Burn 7) Last Resort - reimagined. Then of course Ronald you already watched. I would also recommend I'm Not A Vampire (original) and Revamped - and - The Drug in Me is you (original) and then the reimagined version.
A little explanation of the guy getting hit on the head with laptops. The guy is meant to be Skid row front man Sebastian Bach who tried to ridicule Falling in reverse for cancelling a gig when their laptops went missing. He asserted that ‘real’ rock bands don’t use or need backing tracks and sparked an online war with Ronnie and this was Ronnie getting a little of his own back.
There are 6 videos that tell the story. In order, they are: Voices in my Head > Popular Monster > Ronald > Watch the World Burn > Last Resort > Prequel. While its open to interpretation certainly, the videos (not the songs, the imagery in the videos only) is basically telling a story about a person (being? creature?) from some other reality that rises up to become a savior to the people there. Initially they follow him but then turn on him and he is crucified and dies. Heaven and Hell fight over his soul but he rejects them both since he belongs to neither. By rejecting the afterlife he is able to return to physical form, and comes to our reality. His soul or essence or whatever inhabits a human form, but he does not have full memory of his previous life. However, the disjointed memories of what he really is torment him, and he ultimately suffers severe mental health issues, even winding up in prison at one point. His therapist violates doctor-patient confidentiality and calls the police on him, deciding that he is a dangerous threat that shouldn't have been freed from prison. A SWAT team tries to take him down, but his mental anguish and despair releases the monster inside him, transforming him into something like a werewolf. As the monster, he kills the police but before he escapes a child (played by the singer's real life daughter) calms him, and he returns to human form. He is captured by the police and sedated, but as they are transporting him he wakes up, kills the cops and attempts to escape, only to be chased by various agencies or groups. He turns back into the monster to take out a helicopter that is trying to kill him with its door gun, but then is killed in the resulting crash. He wakes up in Purgatory (or something like that) where he is faced with an angel or some other divine being that explains how fucked up the world is, gifts him a sort of super suit, and another life before sending him to hell to take on a demon who he fights to the death. Having emerged from Hell victorious, he tries to use his powers to save the world. People initially see him as a hero, but there are those that distrust him, believing that he is a villain in disguise. The people begin to turn against him, and so in frustration he decides to become the villain everyone thinks he is. He goes on a rampage, wiping out entire cities and their populations. After this global massacre, he walks through destroyed, depopulated cities, reflecting on his life, his actions, and his own purpose with sadness and regret. Ultimately, he uses his powers to reverse the damage that he has done, restoring the portions of the Earth to what they were prior to his rampage. The final video, "Prequel" shows us the part at the start of the story where he was from another world and was crucified, etc. I cannot stress enough that this is NOT what the songs are about, its just the story told by the videos. I think its super interesting that whoever laid out the stories for these videos clearly understood the real meaning of the story of Yeshua (Jesus,) as opposed to the weird, sanitized version that post-Council of Nicea Christianity uses. I also find it intriguing to think of this soul being resurrected again and again in different realities, always with the same result. That's something I had never considered before.
If you like this just wait till you watch the Live version they did of this.. You’ve never ever seen a better live rendition like it before I can assure you. 🤘🏻🤷🏼♂️🤘🏻
zombified, voices in my head, popular monster, prequel, the drug in me is you, i'm not a vampire, trilogy of losing my mind, losing my life, drugs, just like you live 2024, raised by wolves
Radke was raised in a Christian household. He has since distanced himself from religion. The trilogy's narrative mirrors this theme as well as the concept of falling in reverse (deconstructing the past). WTWB adds another chapter to the story of his metaphorical "fall in reverse".
For the most part, this is NuMetal. I think it was Aerosmith and Run DMC who did the first metal/rap combo. Afterwards a few other bands started doing it, only one i can think of atm is Linkin Park. But once ronnie starts mixing in choir, classical, multiple variations of rock n metal it just becomes: Ronnie
I want to recommend my favorite metal band, Ice Nine Kills. My recommendation is Welcome to Horrorwood the live performance in Riverside, CA. They are sick and soo good
Try the live version. If you haven't gone to see these guys live, GO! As for the video, there's only so long you can villianize someone before they will show you a villian. Ronnie just did it musically. Genre? Heh....not sure they subscribe to the notion.
You should react to their new song "All My Life" featuring Jelly Roll. Check out any songs by an artist named Ren or the band he was in called "The Big Push"
Holy F4ck how have I never heard of this band before? Thank you Pagan for introducing me - the speed, heaviness and orchestration is unbelievable
Oh boy you my friend you are in for a ride.

The big part in the middle with the Darth and Disney reference was to Star Wars.
Yes! More Falling in Reverse. I'd say definitely check out the Last resort reimagined and even popular monster.
Need to watch this one live
крутая мощная песня 👍🤘
Voices in my Head is also fantastic also. Popular Monster is another great one. If you want to start crying then watch some of the reimagined songs.
The video looks like a mix of the movie Joshua and the game Killzone
If you like this just wait till you watch the Live version they did of this.. You’ve never ever seen a better live rendition like it before I can assure you. 🤘🏻🤷🏼♂️🤘🏻
This genre is called "Ronnie." 😂 Now it's time to go down the FIR rabbit hole, prepare to be 🤯
zombified, voices in my head, popular monster, prequel, the drug in me is you, i'm not a vampire, trilogy of losing my mind, losing my life, drugs, just like you live 2024, raised by wolves
Definitely follow up this one with Last Resort Reimagined!! It was released shortly after this one. And there is a connection between the two videos.
They literally just released a new song a few weeks ago called “All My Life”! You gotta check out the “Reimagined/Revamped” songs! Absolutely INSANE!

You HAVE to hear them do a reimagined version of “ Last Resort” by Papa Roach. Ronnie can SING,SING🔥🔥🔥
