Agree. Try the reimagined or revamped songs by Falling in Reverse. I am Not a Vampire Revamped is extremely different than Watch the World Burn! And you HAVE to show the videos for Falling in Reverse videos because they are all fantastic and entertaining.
Your ability to step so far outside of your comfort zone and still speak so eloquently about it is the main draw of this channel for me. I'm not surprised you didn't like it, no one with two brain cells to click together should have expected you to like it. But the fact that you listened and still found at least a few mildly positive things to say is very respectable. This is a pretty unique reaction channel and you can't say that very often, lol.
He may have said that he wasn't going to write about love but he actually wrote a beautiful piano ballad called "Brother" it's about his brother who passed away and left his family behind. So moving.
I understand the question of "What's the point?" And I would say that it is related to questioning things like "What's the point of a roller coaster if you don't go anywhere?", "What's the point of a horror movie if it's fiction?"', or "What's the point of watching a sport match if you are not playing?". I think it's supposed to be thrilling, adrenaline-inducing, and fun.
Listen to The Drug in Me Is Reimagined by Falling in Reverse, or Last Resort by falling in reverse. Same singer, same band, WAY different style that you’ll love
I wasn't expecting to see a falling in reverse song on your channel lol. They're one of the best bands out right now... I know this was something completely out of your comfort zone so I understand how you feel. Since you want something more artistic. I recommend you check out some of their reimagined series. They're more of ballad songs then heavy rap metal like this one. Great reaction either way though. Hope we see more of falling in reverse in your channel in the future. 😌✨
Great reaction! "I'm not a vampire"(reimagined) "Last resort" "The drug in me is you"(reimagined). Incredible displays of Ronnie's singing talent, absolutely no disappointments. Their videos are unbelievable. Cheers.
First time aeeing your channel. Very refreshing to see someone so out of the loop and from a much more classical background. But yeah this band is crazy talented and i would suggest their revamped or reimagined songs. Last resort reimagined has a real classical feel to it.
Just found your channel and watched several reactions, all very good. I would suggest, if you do anymore falling in reverse, you watch the videos, they add a while another experience and each sign is such a different sound and style, there will be some you really don't like like this one, but there are also some you will love
Another interesting band you can react to is Sleep Token, particularly a song called "The Summoning" or "Take me back to Eden" which mixes genres (as many other bands) but in that case mixes metal and rock with R&B and ambient music
Ronnie of Falling in Reverse is a musical genius. He can do just about anything he thinks about. Punk, Metal, rap, ballads - any genre - a great way to explain it is that Ronnie can Music. If you don't like this style I'd recommend any of the Reimagined series - usually just Ronnie playing piano, singing his heart out. My favourite is Last Resort (reimagined).
You've definitely got to check out the drug in me is you and a drug in me is reimagined they are the same song 11 years apart just with a completely different spin I guarantee you you will love the reimagined person
Great reaction, Amy! As soon as this suggestion popped into my feed, I had to click. To tell the truth, this is my first time listening to the song without the accompanying video.
Check out I'm not a Vampire (Revamped), The Drug In Me Is Reimagined, and Last Resort (Reimagined) from Falling In Reverse. You might like those. They do all kinds of different genres. Some of them aren't everyone's cup of tea. I like all of their music regardless of genre.
It was interesting when you talked about the background music making you feel like it's in a church, when in the video, he is in a church. I know your focus is the music, but so much of Falling In Reverse's musical experience is to see the video with the music. If you do react to their reimagined versions of songs (I'm Not a Vampire Revamped, The Drug in Me is Reimagined, Last Resort Reimagined), I would recommend you also watch the video. Excellent reaction.
I'm SOOOO here to see you delve more into the more modern rock/metal scene. one group I'd throw into the mix that I think you might find enjoyable would be Sleep Token. Their latest album really brought them in to popularity and I think they offer more musical elements that you're familiar with, while still having that more modern sound. The Love You Want, The Summoning, Aqua Regia, would be some of my recommendations.
Give FIR “Last Resort (Reimagined)” a listen. I think it will 1. Help clarify the band name when you take it together with “Watch the World Burn” 2. Demonstrate the tip of the iceberg re. Mr. Radke’s range. In fact I think the album “Popular Monster” is shaping up to tell a story Herr Mozart would approve
I love your reactions and another interesting one Covering the classics? Where are The Moody Blues? The band is credited with starting the progressive rock movement 18 gold and platinum records. Over 70 million album sold.
All of his redo series are beautiful. This is more of show and lacks most of his beautiful voice. (in the live its different he does an amazing switch up)
Classical music was/is metal. Look at how Beethoven wrote music for instruments that didn’t exist at the time. Vivaldi was metal (La Folia). You should listen to Wolf Hoffmann’s album Headbangers Symphony. You should listen to I’m Not a Vampire and Revamped (I’m pretty sure the guitar solo in the original is from a classical piece that I like, but can’t place). The Drug In Me Is You and reimagined, Last Resort by Papa Roach and Last Resort reimagined by FiR. Great reaction
Thanks for giving it a chance. The first part is indeed pure hip hop. Please check out The Last Resort Reimagined by Falling in Reverse (maybe listen to the original by Papa Roach first). Ib think you'll like it a lot more. It's rock. Swear words are normal. And honestly - I don't mind. It's just words. You can indeed get used to understand vocals like this. I don't understand opera lyrics, but have no problem with metal lyrics. It's only about what you are trained to understand. Greetings from Germany
I would make the argument that Ronnie cares quite a lot about relationships and that some of the raw emotional energy of his music reflects the pain and anger of being misunderstood and rejected. Also, the visual aspects of the music videos are an essential component to understanding the music. They are meant to be experienced together. Greatly appreciate your willingness to step outside your comfort zone in a non-judgemental way.
Many of them do have, as you say, crude expressions. These expressions are really just part of modern vernacular. I am not a big fan either. But as much as I would prefer no cursing (as there is probably a 'better' way of expressing the thought), I like electric guitar more. so I put up with it. I feel like an old man saying, "it's just how the kids talk." While a bit cliche, it is also accurate. Also, this is quite the song to use to dip your toe into Falling in Reverse it is a very "in your face' song. They offer a wide range of musical offerings. hope you do more, the group and Ronnie really are amazing. Other comments are already leading you to various other songs of theirs I am sure. All the best.
I would recommend looking into Christian post-hardcore. When I was in middle and high school in the early 00s my mom forced me to only listen to Christian music so I've done many deeps dives finding music that I enjoyed. I'm not religious at all but I still revisit some of those bands regularly because I enjoy the music over all, and really, most Christian rock bands refrain from preaching at the audience, they just don't curse which is enough to get them on Tooth and Nail record. Bands like Staple, P.O.D., Project 86, Demon Hunter (first two albums), and there are many others too. They yell, scream, and contain a lot of emotion in general, but with neutral - positive lyrics. Feel free to reach out if you need recommendations. I'll just wrap up by saying any song from Demon Hunter's Summer of Darkness album would be a good listen
Amy, with you now focusing on more modern bands here's some suggestions with songs to best introduce them: - "Cirice" by Ghost, who are currently one of the top metal bands. - "Everybody Sins" (album version) by Andrew WK, who plays all the instruments. - "Dead Memories" by Slipknot, a 9 member band and Corey Taylor can sign anything. - "So We Can Stay Alive" by Garbage - "Every Day Is Exactly The Same" by Nine Inch Nails - "Satanic Cyanide" by Rob Zombie - "How To Be A Human" by Powerman 5000 - "Dani California" by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Watch the video where they portray all the eras of rock. - "Eat Me" by Demi Lovato, who can sing anything. - "Last Patrol" by Monster Magnet
Why hasn't anyone told her about the song by the band Jinjer, "Pisces" yet?? She needs to watch the music video of Tatiana in the studio singing that one. Lol
something more your style by FIR should check out The Drug in me is you and then the reimagined version (double feature to compare them) then i'm not a vampire and the revamped version (again double feature) lastly Last Resort reimagined originally by Papa Roach
A good choice not to view the video as it would have been a major distraction. This is probably not the best song to be introduced to but it is an amalgamation of different genre's and is something that is not traditional, but a new way of making music. I think you would appreciate "I'm Not a Vampire" Revamped. that would probably be more in your lane. You need to do both thou, the original and then the remake.
Radke does seem to have pushed hard into being multimedia for his work, in that he contextualises the song with the video in quite a conscious way, certainly with things like The Trilogy, or the Reimagined series.
I think you’ll enjoy “The Drug In Me Is Reimagined” & “I’m Not A Vampire Revamped”. I actually would like to see you react to those, I’m very curious on what your thoughts would be on them
With Falling in Reverse I have found that while the songs themselves are great, the videos help tell the story of the song. Maybe try checking out the videos after you react to the song. I would love to see your thoughts on them.
I believe you would really enjoy 'Last Resort (Reimagined)' or 'The Drug in Me Is You (Reimagined).' By the way, Ronnie is perfectly fine with people reacting to his music, and there are no copyright issues.
I am glad to see Amy taking interest in more contemporary rock (although this is not the first time). I wish she would try out some other subgenres besides metal. I appreciate the musicianship in metal but I don't like to listen to it. My favorite genre is post punk, but there is so much diversity in rock music now. Rock is no longer the most popular music genre and I think that has allowed a lot of subgenres to flourish because they don't have to conform to what is playable on the radio.
I’d like to take this time to recommend a Rap video from Ren titled: The Hunger. It might shed a little light on the genre that is rap. (Hi Ren was mostly rap with guitar and singing)
Yes, I would probably call this 'rap-rock'. Not that I'm an expert in rap and related genres. It's well put together of its type with some interesting features. The more modern rock and classical feel it developed as it progressed reminded me a little bit of Muse, who are much more musically interesting, melodic and lyrically intelligent IMO which I think you might enjoy.
Musically this song is a bit of a mixed bag with a shift from the rap styling at the beginning to the heavier rock at the later half, Ronnie and Falling in reverse have many genres under their belts, “Ronald” one of the more recent releases is very heavy and the last third of the song would be very difficult to understand without having the lyrics in front of you, “all my life” also a recent one is a lot easier to understand as it’s a country/rock styled song, and the phrasing and instrumentation is a bit different, a lot more mellow, but still reflecting on his less that perfect life, a lot of these songs are far from being love songs, they are more like a voice for anyone who has been through similar experiences or feels like they have been given a poor go at life. However, “the drug in me” and “I’m not a vampire” re-imagined and re-vamped are the closest you could probably get to love songs. I recommend watching or listening to the original song and then the re-work for each in the same reaction to get a sense of how a song can be interpreted one way depending on the tempo and instrument choice, or a completely different way when all of that is changed. And it also shows off their fantastic musical ability to show they aren’t a one trick pony and they can do it all.
Falling in reverse has become more of a visual experience with music, the videos really make the song worth watching but I wouldn’t throw this in a playlist. And this may be the most jarring choice out of falling in reverse’s discography to choose
I liked all about your comment about this. There's always an opportunity to learn. Doesn't the title have meaning in particular works more in the style or purpose like Pink Floyd ?. I don't know.
Metal can get very melodic. I think someone as musically intelligent as Mozart would find it interesting as, in the end, it's all musical evolution. This song is definitely a wide step out the Classic Rock environment! Falling in Reverse has much softer material 😅
I'd like to believe he would have enjoyed it, but technology changed a lot of how we do music, so I'd like to think the big man himself would love the new tools.
You listened to the wrong track. You should have chosen "The Drug in me is Reimagined" as a starter from this band. As far as being crude is concerned, as a musician myself, crude words regardless of what word is used is mainly used as musically explanation points to drive home a certain feeling. There is nothing wrong with that, they are just words, they can't hurt you. Open your mind up a little and step out of the box. You seem trapped in a world of what is proper, music is art and doesn't rely on or care about what is considered "Proper"..
What is the point of the crude expression? Answer, to convey a feeling. In this case imagine a battlefield where your friends are dying left and right and the mission must be a success otherwise... well "expletive deleted". We need the words to express these almost impossible situations. Fortunately the English language has gifted us with our "curse" words. Take a look at the common curse words in English though a musical lens, how do they sound, what do they all have in common, I think you will find something interesting. Then ask why?
First time seeing your channel. I understand that this can be persieved as rude, but I'm not trying to be, but I gotta say that i didn't enjoy your reaction all that much. This is the kind of music i listen to alot, and it seemed like you did not understand it and didn't want to understand it either. The way I interpret this song is that it is about pure anger, hatred and despair, ias someone that can resonate with that, this song becomes an emotional release in a way, so yes, the harsh language is an effect that I feel is necessary. Again I don't know how you usually speak, but it came of as a bit condescending and too analytical to me.
I've been waiting for Amy to get some exposure to more modern heavy music. On one hand, I'm disappointed as Falling in Reverse is a band that I don't admire at all. On the other hand, the song did bring some qualities characteristic to modern heavy music - genre bending, metal core elements, modern post-production (for better or worse). Even the crudeness is somewhat common to many (not all, though) modern artists, but this is an artistic/expressive choice as well. I think it might have been a bit too much to swallow at once for Amy. But then again, she's just exploring and this is what she signed up for, and this is why we watch her :D Don't give up, Amy. Keep exploring.
Falling in reverse is considered a multi-genre band since they "revamped" (covered) their own rock songs from early 2010. Not sure if this song is the best to introduce this band to you given your background, other songs (I am not a vampire, Last resort incredible cover...) may better resonate with what you've already listened to an enjoyed in my humble opinion. Another band you might want to check in order to explore the "multi-genre" trend is "SLEEP TOKEN", definitely the most promising for me.
If you're doing Ren and Falling In Reverse, you should also give a listen to The Gorillaz and Run The Jewels. It's time to expand your horizons to the maximum.
Well I listened. I have to say that it sounded incredibly derivative. But maybe I am doing them a disservice. I guess I just don't have the right buttons/receptors. It just makes me want to listen to something else.
I heard better, I heard worse, I'm rather stoic about it. But fistfight ? I would rather classify it as demolition. I wonder if the day will ever come when you handle some Anne Clark songs. That's spoken word, and hey, she had something to say and she said it very clearly. OK, she still does.
Well the rap part is very long and dominant in this one, so I see how you are struggling to find any music in this. Might be interesting to react something totally left field, that may not even get a lot of views, but might be interesting, because it's absurd nonsense done well. like Knorkator - Absolution (live) 😀 or almost everything Knorkator does. Heilung are really good as well and probably a new (while very old) style of music. Devin Townsend never disappoints. Doom Eternal (OST) is absolutely fantastic music, everything Hans Zimmer does... What I mean to say: There is stuff actually popular on youtube AND good music 😀
Amy... you have barely scratched the various rock genres within the so-called "classics". That is one reason some of your analyses are so off, such as believing some kind of influence between Queen and Prince, which doesn't exist. perhaps you should do a deep dive into rock's origins so you have a greater appreciation for the various historical musical threads that gave shape to rock, including lyrical influences. I have recently unsubscribed because so many of groups you are featuring during the past 6 months are not particularly noteworthy in the evolution of rock.
Last Resort (reimagined)
Piano, cellos, right in your wheelhouse! 🤘🏼
THIS!!!!
She should have gone for this one first.
Thumbs this up so she’ll listen to I Am Not A Vampire (Revamped)!
Yes I think that would be more for her as well as “The drug in me is you” reimagined
Agree. Try the reimagined or revamped songs by Falling in Reverse. I am Not a Vampire Revamped is extremely different than Watch the World Burn! And you HAVE to show the videos for Falling in Reverse videos because they are all fantastic and entertaining.
Yes! I'd love to hear her insights!
Absolutely!! Any re-works would be perfect!
Yes please!
Your ability to step so far outside of your comfort zone and still speak so eloquently about it is the main draw of this channel for me. is it wrong that I'd love to see her do Electric Callboy? ;) You don't need the hilarious video to enjoy We Got the Moves :)
He may have said that he wasn't going to write about love but he actually wrote a beautiful piano ballad called "Brother" it's about his brother who passed away and left his family behind. So moving.
That one's a tearjerker for sure.
I understand the question of "What's the point?"
And I would say that it is related to questioning things like "What's the point of a roller coaster if you don't go anywhere?", "What's the point of a horror movie if it's fiction?"', or "What's the point of watching a sport match if you are not playing?".

Since you want something more artistic. I recommend you check out some of their reimagined series. They're more of ballad songs then heavy rap metal like this one.
Great reaction either way though. Hope we see more of falling in reverse in your channel in the future. 😌✨
His cover of last resort just might bring a tear to your eye. He sings so well. His falsetto is beautiful.
I Am Not A Vampire (Revamped) really is in your wheel house I think, amazing video as always!
Great reaction! "I'm not a vampire"(reimagined) "Last resort" "The drug in me is you"(reimagined). Incredible displays of Ronnie's singing talent, absolutely no disappointments. Their videos are unbelievable. Cheers.
I grew up with classical music and love Falling in Reverse. I appreciate your review.
Please more falling in reverse ❤❤
First time aeeing your channel. Very refreshing to see someone so out of the loop and from a much more classical background. But yeah this band is crazy talented and i would suggest their revamped or reimagined songs. Last resort reimagined has a real classical feel to it.
The video really makes the experience different.

At least she didn’t start with “Ronald”
Wait, why has no one suggested falling in reverses, re-imagined version of Last Resort? I mean, it's right in her wheelhouse.
Modern you say?
Sleep Token is the band to check ;)
You've definitely got to check out the drug in me is you and a drug in me is reimagined they are the same song 11 years apart just with a completely different spin I guarantee you you will love the reimagined person
Sooooo glad she opened this can of worms, will be fun to watch her experience the Ronnie rabbit hole...
💥
Please more Falling in Reverse! :) The songs others are mentioning! I troly believe Ronnie is a musical genius of our times! 😊
Great reaction, Amy! As soon as this suggestion popped into my feed, I had to click. To tell the truth, this is my first time listening to the song without the accompanying video.
I love the way that Harp looks, just thought that was pretty cool.
Another unexpected reaction! Bit sad, it's not music video reaction
It was interesting when you talked about the background music making you feel like it's in a church, when in the video, he is in a church. I know your focus is the music, but so much of Falling In Reverse's musical experience is to see the video with the music. Very cinematic musical feel
You might enjoy their cover of Last Resort, it's more mellow than the original and is primarily on piano.

I enjoyed your reaction to this song, You should check out the LIVE video of this song, its amazing and truly shows his range in concert.
Amy, with you now focusing on more modern bands here's some suggestions with songs to best introduce them:
- "Cirice" by Ghost, who are currently one of the top metal bands.
- "Everybody Sins" (album version) by Andrew WK, who plays all the instruments.
- "Dead Memories" by Slipknot, a 9 member band and Corey Taylor can sign anything.
- "So We Can Stay Alive" by Garbage
- "Every Day Is Exactly The Same" by Nine Inch Nails
- "Satanic Cyanide" by Rob Zombie
- "How To Be A Human" by Powerman 5000
- "Dani California" by Red Hot Chili Peppers.
Lol

With Falling in Reverse I have found that while the songs themselves are great, the videos help tell the story of the song. Maybe try checking out the videos after you react to the song. I would love to see your thoughts on them.
Sleep Token, specifically a song called The Summoning, is a very good option for this contemporary rock reactions you are starting. Please react to it
I could understand every word that he spoke except for when he did triple time chopper rap flow.
modern metal bands that you should check out
DEVIN TOWNSEND
JINJER
GOJIRA
MASTODON
ELECTRIC CALLBOY
Definitely do a video on their songs the drug in me is reimagined, I’m not a vampire revamped. It’s in your wheelhouse

This is awesome. I hope you do more. Thanks for the reaction
🤘🙌👌
you should check out Scorpions winds of change and send me a angle.
I liked all about your comment about this. There's always an opportunity to learn. Doesn't the title have meaning in particular works more in the style or purpose like Pink Floyd ?. I don't know.
Haken, Riverside, Bent Knee.. I'd love to hear your reaction to them.. or Univers Zero.

Welcome to the Ronnie Rabbit Hole™️
Just make sure if you do do any Revamped or Reimagined songs you do the originals first!
Enjoy the ride.
PTCBMF Studios CEO is here.
you should check out "to the hellfire" by lorna shore
I really need her reaction to graal by ne obliviscaris
Dont forget FIR dont copyright slap reactors, so you can share/watch their video's.
Great reaction. Ronnie Radke watches the reaction to his music videos. Hopefully he will see yours.
U have to watch the Video...only half experience ...
But then again, she's just exploring and this is what she signed up for, and this is why we watch her :D
Don't give up, Amy. Keep exploring.
Next channel "virgin rap" 😁
It's time to expand your horizons to the maximum.
at this pace it will take a while to get to skrillez (jk)
Can you react to the band Bring me the Horizon. They are very good.
Well I listened. I have to say that it sounded incredibly derivative. But maybe I am doing them a disservice. I guess I just don't have the right buttons/receptors. It just makes me want to listen to something else.
Wait until she listens to some Infant Annihilatot😂😂😂
Watch the music video… there’s a church alright lol
Welcome to the genre that is ronnie radke 😂

FIR are poopoo😁
This is not rock, nor metal. Just one style GLUED to the next in sequence. Retire guys, retire!
👎
Please consider listing or even viewing the video of Popular Monster, I'm Not A Vampire (Revamped) and Last Resort (Reimagined)
Amy... you have barely scratched the various rock genres within the so-called "classics".
Who are selecting these songs? These are trash
