I was denied dual citizenship here in California. My father born in Malolos, Bulacan retired US Navy and was US Citizen at the time if my birth. My mother was a Filipino citizen at the time of my birth. I was born before 1973 and was told I’m ineligible due to my father being US Citizen. What do you think and what do I need to do?
I forgot to mention I was born in Manila.

Paano po kung Filipino ang mother( husband is american) na naging American citizen (hindi pa naka acquire ng dual citizenship) at nanganak sa Pilipinas? Saan po irereport ang birth ng bata?

In order to be considered PH citizen, the child must have at least 1 parent who is a PH citizen upon his birth. It DOES NOT matter if your kid was born in PH.

Saan po ereport ung birth certificate ng bata? Pinganak ko po sya sa ibang bansa. Naka apelyedo sya sa ama nya isang foreigner po.. 13 yers old na po anak ko... Sana po makasagot...

You can do the report of birth to the PH Consulate which has jurisdiction over the place of birth.
