I'm keeping my purple 21 RXP X even with everything I've had to do to it and modified I still only have 13 K in it and we finally got it up to 78 mph.. close enough.
2024 RXTX 325 owner live in south Florida I love it no regrets but in this mans situation he’s trying to throw money away but I got extended warranty thru seadoo for 6 years front to back everything’s covered so when that time comes for me we’ll see
I had a 2020 TX 300 with 240 hours on it and it never had a single issue but sold it in 2024 for $11,500 and bought a new TX 325 for I think about 22k. Honestly it was not worth it. The 325 definitely hits harder mid range but if your like me and love to just cruise and enjoy the water the 325 was 100% over hyped. Keep your current unit and take care of you stuff!
Exactly what I was thinking. It all depends on how you take care or your jetski. Some people just don't know how, or are just lazy. Specially people that ride saltwater and don't do the proper maintenance after a ride.
Love your videos. You bring common sense back to basic maintenance and it’s very rewarding to watch. You also are very advance in your ability’s as a mechanic. Not much on the tube anymore so please don’t sell out when you have over 100k subscribers. Take care
I can see that you always mean well even when you struggle to say the right Words or call the Things right while Explaining to any that is watching….. Thank You 🙏always VERY Informative!!! THANK YOU 🙏 😊
Love your channel and videos, I have the exact same ski bought brand new in 2023. I'm from Chicago and ride in fresh water. Have 15 hours on it and it has a JP catch can and Riva scom. I don't think you mentioned how many hours the ski in the video had on it. I was really wanting to know that. Lots of respect from Chicago and keep those videos coming!!!!! Thanks
Im in the same predicament. The cost to make power on a 300 doesnt seem worth it anymore. Especially when you can delete a 24 and reach 80. You pay 2k more from the dealer though. So its a weird place to be really.
It it depends on what kind of jetski owner you are. If you wanna save money id say to stick with the 2022 RXT-X. The new 325s are awesome, but if you are the type of person that doesn't do the proper maintenance on Jetski, then your new seadoo will last you just as long as that used one.
I love my 325 rxpx. But i bought it used for a really good price. Id say keep riding the 300 and wait a few years for the 2024 325s to be more available in a fairly used conditions.
I bought a 2021 GTX 170 a few months ago and have been pouring over all the information I can get my hands on. I've come to this conclusion, if you ride a ski in salt water, you need to either be mechanically inclined and don't mind doing the upkeep or have the money to pay someone to do it. If you don't take one of these paths, you will find yourself with a broken ski. I personally love working on and maintaining mine so it's not an issue for me. These things are like a marriage, you can't ignore the issues for long and plan to have a good time 😂
Ernesto! I feel like this video was made JUST FOR ME! I have a 2021 RXTX that I originally was going to replace with a 2024 RXPX but then decided to keep it in the end! I think taking care of your stuff like you're gonna keep it forever is the best plan! I've rode in California and Florida, theres something about Florida that takes a toll on skis much faster and harder than California (both on salt water). I look under the deck about once a month and always clean up and lightly coat it with fluid film. Its worked so far and I don't have much corrosion of paint flaking off. Just rinse and clean baby thats it, just take care of your ski and it will take care of you!. Also that DIY intake girdle had me winching! I don't think I could ever!
I disconnect my battery after every ride to keep the lead plates from degrading due to current draw from the CPU. Just changed my 2016 battery last year and it was still good just preventive maintenance.
If he is content with losing 10k on two years' worth of use, then I suppose purchasing a new ski would be an option. Personally, I believe in taking good care of one's equipment, performing regular maintenance, and deriving enjoyment from using it while saving money.
I ride a turbocharged 05 RXP. I have 2 S3 hulls including a 16 TX 300, but I'm not a fan of how large and boat feeling the newer skis are and keep going back to my 05 which feels large to me compared to the 2 strokes I used to race. Frankly the new skis aren't fast enough for the price for me to ride them. 90MPH for like $7K vs 75ish for 20K, easy decision for me.
Always have super great information in all your videos! Question just purchased a 2023 APEX 300 RXPX Riva Stage 1 Already as its hitting 75MPH with 35 Hours with an Aftermarket company Extended Warranty but It was pretty pricey and I am now thinking about cancelling the Extended Warranty while I still can, In your professional opinion is an extended Warranty recommended for this 2023 Model? I am located in Central Florida and ride often but mainly just Lakes/Freshwater and plan on keeping it Stage 1 as it is.
How do you remove a broken bolt in the motor mount Hull? MIG weld a nut and hand work it out cooled down? Soak it in pb blaser fluid? U had one in a older video... i snapped 1 in my RXT doin shim alignment 😒
Useful tips for someone who is not mechanically inclined. Just changed my battery two days ago. Found out the hard way, dropped the bolts and the band was impossible to put back on. Keep up the advice and looking forward to the next video.
If you are not trying to go a lot faster then no reason to go for 325. 325 sounds like it is much easier to go faster. Also the RXT series is due for a hull redo in next few years so another reason to wait. Just look at great RXP upgraded hull in 2021.
Hi señor I’ve been a subscriber and follower for the past year I love your content but I do have a question for you, I now own older two stroke seadoos but am getting fed up to much issues with them my question is do you think is worth it to buy a set of 2023 Yamahas ex with about 400 hrs each ex rentals there deal is about $7500 for both what do you think ?
I have a 2017 RXP300 set up for closed course racing with a fully built motor and just about everything you can put on it. I love the ski and it is super fast and will turn on a dime however, I’m not gonna lie, you can buy a brand new RXP and do a few mods and be just as or if not faster than my ski that I have close to 40k in mods. I will never sell this ski as it fits my style, but I can’t deny the convenience and performance you can achieve with the new model. In regards to reliability and breakdowns, all will have there problems and require maintenance, you also get what you give in that regards to the maintenance, spending extra money to be in the same spot in a few years is a waste, put your money into building back your ski with better parts, also you’ll have something different instead of being like everyone else. Kinda like a 68 Camaro at a car show, everyone likes the new stuff until that old school muscle with big ole blower sticking out of the hood rolls through. But in the end to each there own.
ppl around s w florida are poor and broke. im having a hard time selling a2016 fzs mint low hours for ten grand. ppl dont have much cash thats why they finance them from dealers
On my 5th year same battery ...put on trickle charger during off season (2014 Yamaha FX SVHO).
Dangelo Avenue
love it...
youre like the jet ski blippy
Lmfao 😂😂😂😂
Keep the ski. I have over 500hrs on my 18 GTI 155.
I'm keeping my purple 21 RXP X even with everything I've had to do to it and modified I still only have 13 K in it and we finally got it up to 78 mph.. close enough.
I love that you can make the 325 a 90mph ski with a easy package including you guys camshaft!
If the Person respects you and your boundaries, and you feel the some way about them.
I’m happy with my Gtrx 300. Although if they ever shove a 1630 in a spark, I’ll trade it.

Are you gonna be at the world finals this year? I’ve been following you for the last six years.
i got 6 years out off a dry cell sbt battery found dry cell are good but trickle charge every 3 months or so.

Hey can you do a detailed engine build video we are not from the USA and your videos are really educational
He has a bunch of them. Go check out his previous videos. He does all kinds of engine builds
I disconnect my battery after every ride to keep the lead plates from degrading due to current draw from the CPU. Just changed my 2016 battery last year and it was still good just preventive maintenance.
That is beautiful and great jet ski I keeping running

The 325 is essentially a stage 1 kit, the 300 with a few parts is way faster and not a limited CPU!
Useful tips for someone who is not mechanically inclined. Just changed my battery two days ago. Found out the hard way, dropped the bolts and the band was impossible to put back on. Keep up the advice and looking forward to the next video.
I love my modded 2022 RXP300X. Prety sure 75 mph is fast enough. Stay wet!
Good work, but you forgot to tie the screw on the plastic😄
Im keeping my 2018 gtx 300

What did they change on 2025 GTX to make the IDF be strong enough for the 325? Can this be implemented on the 300?

Oooh yeah!!!!! That’s gonna be awesome! 😎
Bro how much better is the RXP hull in the chop than the GTI/GTR pollytec 2 hull ???
Sorry for the off line question
ppl around s w florida are poor and broke. im having a hard time selling a2016 fzs mint low hours for ten grand.

Heyyy mr. Thing I rather put a couple of bucks on my 2021 then to buy a new one for me is better Mr thing 🤦🏼♂️🤣🤣🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
What i think is that my ‘06 is holding good compared to the newer skis
'06 - '09 are the least expensive to maintain for sure. The big hulls are nice though
The 325 is really a stage 2 so it’s no real comparison to a bone stock 300.
