Shoutouts to Toph and PP for always being genuinely into having these guests on, with the variety of people involved in this game's community the variety is really cool
CV: I don't think I'd ever argue that he has the healthiest mentality, but I think Leffen might have the strongest mentality. Not just because of the fact that he's gone through so many insane obstacles that were completely beyond his control (the visa stuff) and not only managed to not give up but also remain an elite-level player, which is insanely impressive; but also because he's an anomaly in the sense that people as prone to saltiness (both in frequency and level of salt) as he is simply shouldn't be able to get as good as he's gotten at the game. He is such a saltlord and is so prone to complaining about things and that kind of attitude basically never pairs itself with actually reaching the top level of play, but somehow he's made it work so his brain is just built different I guess.
Donkey Kong is wack. He just has a free punish game on fast fallers. Toph is right, people have been complaining about Marth for the same reason for years.
tbf Falco is one of DKs worst matchups and it's only made a bit better by turnaround powershield. Fast fallers would win more if they decided to camp more imo, you chose to lose if you play Fox
I'm late! CV: Jmook is an obvious lock for healthiest mentality. aMSa and Leffen have very effective mentalities, but they definitely also seem to be life-shorteningly stressful. Honorable mentions to Polish, Soonsay, Magi, Joshman, Trif, Llod, and Kodorin. Aklo, too, seems really composed *all* of the time I watch him, despite what he has shared here. Healthiest amount of post-loss salt has to go to Magi. Her frustration always seems to perfectly mirror what viewers feel or what other competitors might feel in her situation -- no more, no less. Not sure how she does it.
In the past PewPewU....these days maybe Ginger. But for top top players it's gotta be Zain. If you're trying to win tournament matches...I think any amount of salt that causes you to play off your game/take you out of the flow state. Once you're tilted it's over. But in general/ causal once anyone starts to complain about their character having no options or how broken the other character is too much, then they should take a break
love aklo he’s one of my favorite foxes to watch met him at TBH10 and he’s just a chill dude don’t understand the harsh criticism when his level of play is insane
CV: If we're counting retired players, the player with the best mentality is PP by an extremely long shot. If that's cheating, probably Zain? As for a healthy level of salt, I'd say you should probably stop right about when you start disliking players for the characters (or playstyles) they play. Hate on Falco as much as you like, just don't start hating on Falco players.

Aklo was my first ever tourney match... My ankles still haven't recovered.
Anklo
Idk why Aklo gets so much hate. Watching him systematically dismantle mid-tiers will always be entertaining to me
You hate to see it but can’t hate the guy. He plays to win
Cause yoshi
guyfarting was the greatest social experiment in modern melee
Seeing as this video has only been uploaded 5 minutes ago, I can safely say that anything Aklo has to say is categorically wrong.
Lmaoooo the Bobby big balls answer didn’t age well 😂 but this podcast is still one of my favorites keep it up boys

yo I wanna be on this one day!
Please taunt vs people more!
From what I’ve seen from kodorin I think he has the best mentality. Always smiling even after a loss, always learning and obviously enjoys the game.

Would love to see Webs on the show next season
I used to viscerally despise watching Aklo play. I think he's improved and started mixing things up.
