Lovely video! My SIL n I have been using caulk in 12"x18" thin molds to decorate furniture for last few years as I have a construction background. We found to remove place them face down and pull pink mold up and away instead of tugging lace from pink mold. Peel pink mold back so it is nearly touching the back of itself so lace is easily coaxed out by pink mold rolling away from it. Gently hold the lace down with a ruler (or pallet knife on small pieces) against work surface as u coax pink mold backwards. Hope this helps a bit... It may sound complex but do it a couple times and it will be clear❤
When you look back at all the times you pulled off that flexible strip of old caulk, it all makes sense :) It stays relatively strong and flexible even after years of use.
They are gorgeous. I'm definitely going to try this out. What type of glue is best suited to sticking these on to glass or resin, please? Many thanks for sharing x ❤
Thank you for posting this.. where I’m at we don’t get flexible modelling paste. Would it be possible to to spray paint the lace after it’s removed from the mould?
Very cool idea. Beautiful.
Great idea! I do the same thing with the baking moulds and silicone acrylic caulk. It's perfection!!!

I would never have thought to use caulk for something like this - and I've used plenty in construction. 😅

This is genius!
Great use of everyday materials, right 🙂

Thank you 🩷 I will use Titebond Quick and Thick.
Great, thank you so much for getting back to me x
What would you recommend sealing them with so not to lose any pigment? ❤
Any top coat/varnish will do. I use Polyvine Decorator's varnish.
Thank you
Have you tried mixing the mica into the acrylic paste and then spread it onto the mold?
Yes, that also works, but you do need a bit more mica for this. Even if you only apply it on the mold, most of the acrylic gets colored by it.

You are welcome 😊 Spray paint would work, but perhaps use primer first, so it will not wipe off. Or spray chalk paint.
