Another goldnugget: "Tesla owners, they are not rich people. They can afford Tesla because they sleep in the car and eat expired food. It`s all about priorities."
Ok with panel gaps but not window shade gaps :)
carguy1994ca Not every Tesla has gaps in it
in 2014 your channel was among the top youtube suggestions for infos about tesla. today youtube tells me to watch your new videos even without a subscription. there is no tesla without bjørn...
I can't believe that I did watch TWO LONG VIDEOS from Teslabjørn, and I didn't notice the time passing! 😊
01:26 Bjørn: "I need to spend more quality time with MC Hammer." Ammery: Nein!🤦♀️Nein!🤦♀️Nein!🤦♀️
“I feel like I haven’t road trip enough in MC Hammer”
YES. I yearn for the good old Tesla road trip.
I found your channel so long ago....probably typed Tesla in RUclips and saw roadtrip video number 2 just released 🤔😂.
Cool video...great night sky!
Hey TB. It has been awhile since I have watched your video. Great to see that you have done a road tripping video. The last one I had seen from you were the ones in Thailand. I recently drove from Toronto to Vamcouver and back and drove over 9000 kms. We camped a family of 4 in the SR+ Tesla for 10 days and for 5 days in airbnb. We used just a 2" memory foram for the rear and the front seats we folded them back and raised them up to avoid hitting the rear headrests. Coller in the lower trunk, camping gear in a black box left outside the car at night and changing gear and cooking gear in the frunk. Our day bags fit in the rear seat footwell. Truly an amazing way to see the country. Only $175 can one way using the tt30 charger adaptor at the camlsotes and charging at airbmb at 120v.
Find your channel about 2-3yrs ago, recommended by RUclips based on search for EV. Subscribed immediately. :)
Hi Taycan Bjorn :) I found your channel like almost in 2019 end - and i found it due to youtube recommendation while looking at Fully Charged. The very first video was on what to do when you run out of juice in Optimus prime while its snowing and searching for the place to insert the tow hook. I have been hooked since - and will continue to donate to you via stream labs/ paypal :) Thank u so much Bjorn - cant wait for more EV cars and awesome tests
Well there's a saying in my language: "Free vinegar is sweeter than honey" I believe it to be true :)
Tam oturtmussun ahaha
I found Teslabjørn channel when you were offroading Optimus Prime. It didn't went very well, but i did stay subscribed since.
Found your channel years ago, but wasn't in the market for an EV then. I am now, and we're considering the new e-Soul :) Hi from Bjerke, a few minutes away!
I was interested in Honda e and find your videos about it, then I found out that this channel is very interesting. Good video. Thanks
Found your channel 2 years ago I think by recommendation on a forum in Romanian about Romanian infrastructure
"It´s a wrong hole and then blow it"
2 degrees! We had 38 yesterday. I wish we had less than 20 just for one night. Covering all those gaps in the windows is super important with hot weather.
Hey Bjorn, I’ve only recently discovered your channel in the last 2 weeks. I’ve had an i3 for 3 years, got rid as the range was way too low. Loved going electric tho. Never been much of a Tesla fan but you have convinced me with your brilliant challenges and insight that it’s the only way to go. So now looking at a 2021 Model3 LR hopefully 🙏🏼. Thankyou for your videos. They are keeping me immensely entertained and informed. Hope to become a Patreon soon too. 👍🏼

Hi bjorn, big fan, I found your channel 3 Years ago when I started my taxi business with my leaf 30kwh, just searched for EV in RUclips and you were on top of the chart
I started liking Tesla after watching your model s road trip videos in 2013 and since than I am your fan( subscriber). Keep up the good work and continue making amazing videos.
An alternative to the air madress is a hybrid with a thin foam madress combined with an air madress. This combination is a product, and I have tried it and. can recommend it.The one a have is single bed version. That saves space.
Thumbs up for the night's sky timelapse.
25:25 Mandatory mountain landscape and night sky product placement approved.
YT kickbacks help Norwegian state fund EV adoption.
Found your channel few years ago looking for Tesla news. Greetings from Spain.
Found the channel several years ago. I believe I was just searching videos on Tesla - wanted to know the latest trends. Looking forward going electric soon with e2008 and your videos were a good part of my decision. Keep up your work - help making people leave dinosaur juice for better use!
Great to see you doing road trips again in MC Hammer
Found your channel a few years ago I think, I was searching for "how does EV's work in the Nordic climate" and your tesla videos popped up. I didn't subscribe until just now as you latest videos were always in my feed thanks you youtube algorithm.
Cant remember how I found your channel. It was way back when you had Millennium Falcon and I enjoyed almost every video since then. 😊
Dear Björn, I've been watching your videos with great delight for many, many years. I have liked the style of your videos. Your editing and your choice of music is something I often recommended to other youtubers. Recently, you started to make use of time-lapses quite often, which is something I disdain. It makes me sick to the stomach, and furthermore, I can see no relevant dramatic impact of accelerated scenes. Please, take the time for your previous refined editing and you will keep a long-time follower and Tesla driver happy. Cheers, Udo
... other´s have „plug and pray“ 🤣
Norway is wonderful
"Other chargers isn't plug and play, it's plug and pray" good shit!
22:50 😂 “oh yeah, they suck well”
WOW the night sky at that place looks stunning...like you say definitely no light polution there....astronomy one of my hobbies..you will have to try and squeeze a telescope in next time Bjorn :)
I discovered you on RUclips, the recommendations based on my research of electric vehicles.
I really appreciate the content in your channel Bjorn. Thank you again for all these explanations and tests.
Ninety percent satisfied with sunshades ^^
The no of kms bjorn has travelled while drving might be equal to multiple trips to Moon and back 🤣
He put almost 500000km on the S and X combined...and probably 80000ish on MC Hammer...so...he's almost home from his lunar trip 🤔😎.
Still looking for a company that makes a Therm-a-rest type of mattress, cut exactly to a model 3. As more people tend to try and sleep in their car this could be a winner. It should fit in the subtrunk, but also has the camping mattress type of insulation.
We stopped at Brummental when in Norway and a lot of the stalls didn’t work. I hope they are all up and running now.
I'd love to try sleeping in a car like this. What an incredible view! So beautiful.
Wow, thought the night sky was fake at first. Can't believe fall/winter is coming. With COVID it feels like there was no summer.
So you camped right by Muen. It's a pretty fun walk up to the top provided the weather is good. The road past Venabygd (approximately 1000 meters or 3300 feet above sea level) is bad with some rather sharp bumps (people with low cars are warned). Great video by the way :)
Some years ago, I was looking for EV reviews, comparisons, technical specs/data, general user experience, road trip user experience. You have provided all of that, thank you. After much consideration I decided on the Niro EV.
One thing I couldn't figure out, how do you choose a road trip/car camping destination? Is it a campground, do you pull in to a national park, or park off the side of the freeway? There must be laws that don't allow overnight parking/camping.
We have freedom to roam:
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Freedom_to_roam
And I use park4night.com to find spots.
Bjørn Nyland A great tip, thank you!
I found you by searching Tesla videos a year ago when I ordered one.
The way I found your channel is when RUclips recommend me the video "Tesla Model X off-roading gone wrong!"
Wow, your shots of the night sky is some high quality Shit!
I found your channel after I became a new owner of a 2020 Nissan Leaf and I did some searching for related videos. I like your style of content and presentation.
Do you have any recommendations for tesla camping ⛺️where we can rent in Tromso?
Found your channel early 2019 when i was searching for Tesla M3 tests on RUclips...was in California i believe. Later i discovered you live in Norway, 1 of my favourite holiday countries. Watched your videos ever since...
Found your channel early 2019 on RUclips to find out the pro’s and con’s of EV driving. One of the first video’s was your road trip to Denmark with E-Niro. Fan of your video’s since then
2:05 - I saw that one coming xD
Next step for tesla's campermode: Integration of some automatic sun blind for the windows
Yeah! They should put double layer electrochromic glass in Tesla's. Keeping it dark and quiet....so no one can hear you scream....🤣
@@kaasman78 You should watch the Model Y review of Jay Leno, he knows what the space in the back is really for. ^^
I found your channel when browsing EV videos on RUclips
Björn you are so funny 😆 im like
Plug and pray 😂😂 that had me!
Really enjoyed this video. Great work!
Those stars, wow
Why is every name of the citys in Norway like you fall asleep on your keyboard?
I use that mattress in my model 3, I have inflated it inside the car.
found your channel when i moved to Sweden in 2016, now already almost one year lived in Norway and considering getting an EV, but it is a tough choice when your budget is limited but same time you want model 3😅 so i guess i will wait till next year and buy a used one. Thank you for your videos, keep on doing good job 👍
Bjorn, this is your best comic video ever :-D You catched very nice landskapes, night pictures of Milky Way and I was also laughing several times - accelerated video like you put mattress into MC Hammer or expirated food -40% + „Plug & Pray“ :-D Best ideas from excited man ;-)
Enjoy your content although not an EV owner yet. Model Y looks ideal when available in UK. Also thinking of E-Niro but as you say anything non Tesla could be 'Plug and Pray; I don't want to have range/charge availability anxiety.
I found your channel because i was interested in an european point of view of tesla content and the only english speaking channel that featured outer cars and with detailed report of consumption was yours.
Hello from France! ^^ I found your channel looking after a good choice for my first EV. I bought a E-Niro but with the bad charging network in France I’m getting closed to the idea of buying a model 3 on the next step.
Hi Bjorn. My grandfather was from Norway and I like cars! This equals your channel. Unfortunately, EVs don't seem that popular in the UK. Best wishes.
The suction cop sucks very well :P
2:07 Its allowed only for Tesla to do that
I saw some of your videos long time ago about hypermiling and hammering on the deutsche autobahn. I've subscribed to your channel a couple of months before you got Mc Hammer. Since then I watch every video + the live streams when I have the opportunity to watch.
Keep up the good work!
No doggy no wifey, you get cool quality Time with MCH. I get a classic BN road trip camping see what you eat video. Missed those. Life is good :)
Here in the US you can get a insulated sleeping pad good to minus 20 Celsius for $70 REI I assure you can get similar in Europe that would be a very good choice for cold weather 20in wide so you need to to sleep two people side by sides
When will you camp in Polestar 2, Bjørn?
Did you ever try Blidimax to cover your windows? They are well known in the offroad community, but not limited to that. However they are pretty pricy: The complete set for Model 3 is about 900€ (black exterior) or 700€ (silver exterior) *shock* blickdicht-manufaktur.de/tesla-211.html
Great camping landscape, too bad that Lord of the Rings director didn't know this place :)
I found your channel thro' you tube as a Nissan Leaf (2014) owner several years ago. For me there are only 3 channels worth watching regarding electric cars and YOURS is the best most comprehensive followed by Autogefuhl and Fully Charged altho their last review wasn't great. However I do find YO Whats Up!! and other silly comments annoying but the content makes up for it!
I love watching your videos because you are charging, rushing around, trying to understand the technology, eating, being human, and enjoying ecars (and trying to predict range like a ninja). Me too!!! Carry on my wayward son! You are the kind reviewer of all kinds of crapy ecars so plug and pray.... ...but then I know you and you know me, and its Tesla for the best ecar!!! Whoohooo, mines is coming early, 8 more days!!!! Whooohoooo!!!! Dont forget floss you teeth, no wax, and have no canker sores again!!! Whooohooo!!!!
I've been missing the good Tesla porn that I used to see here, ah, um... I mean Norway scenery.
Beautiful place, truly! Sleeping in an exhaust car = meh. Sleeping in an EV? That is some amazing stuff right there! Both for camping like you are doing, or, if you are going on a road trip and don't feel like adapting your traveling to hotels. Maybe you are doing a really long trip and just want to drive until you feel too tired to continue? Super nice to just make a bed in the backseat and trunk then!
Carbon footprint when sleeping in a car vs hotel is also much better.
@@bjornnyland Good point!
@@bjornnyland Ah yes, I forgot to mention: I've been watching you in ninja mode since just before you bought Optimus. Heard of you from other EV enthusiasts. Only now got around to start commenting; figured I could help explaining stuff I often see asked about in comment sections on clean tech channels. :)
i found you before you drive a tesla :) greeting from slovakia :)
Björn, have you tinted your rear windows?
Yes
Food at service stations in Europe is so much better than in the U.S. It's like a 3 or 4-star restaurant vs. pet food.
Bojorn does these tests so we don’t have to. Also, I’ve put Norway at the top of my bucket list of places to visit because of these videos. Keep up the great work and one day maybe I’ll buy you a beer
Plug and pray, you right!
16:00 Tesla follows the racing line 😂
I like that. Tesla owners are not rich, they sleep in their car and eat expired food. I think that’s funny.
20:40 Could you add some Benny Hill music to this bit please?
Sleep in a car, and eat expired food loooooooooool, love your channel Bjorn
the first videos i watch Tesla Model S videos: #8 and #nein, I suppscripede short after
Waw Bjorn, you have 13 adds in your 40min video, what happened?
Tesla disabling fast charging was in California because of all the fires here (hundreds of fire, one of which is the second largest California has ever had).
No, it also happened in Europe. It wasn't disabling it. It was reducing the speed. Maybe you got them mixed up?
Googled for Juice booster 2 and there it was, Big Bjorn :)
Recommend SC 2 Alphastar videos from LaughNgamez. That deepmind AI, just brutal. Gets better and better. Really smart play most of the time. If it is not Alphaduping. Best consumed with -38degrees camping in a Tesla and a ton of junk-food, like a king in France. (;
Following your channel since the most epic Supercharger setup ever -> Optimus Prime braking down and eating random berries. Abo since then. Model Y next year because of you.
I never knew that Tritium was an Australian company.
It was as Olek Seleznov said, I means when I look arround EV some years ago (2016), your name and RUclips chanel was promote by one other on French Ev forum (automobile-propre.com). Then I bough a Nissan Leaf 40kWh in octobre 18 .... And now I am waiting a TM3 for next week ... for the win ;-)
Found your channel when researching before buying our first Tesla about 3 years ago. Your videos gave me the confidence to move forward with our purchase. Not only did your videos ease my range anxiety, I was downright excited to go on roadtrips! I LOVE the Tesla roadtrip videos. I know it's a lot easier these days to do an EV roadtrip, with the current charging networks, so you no longer need to educate people about the feasability. But damn, I just love a good old-fashioned Bjorn Nimber run thru scenic Norway! =)
14 commercials while watching, it gets painful
How did I find your channel? I was in market for a new vehicle either ICE or EV. I wanted more info about Tesla. So YT recommended TB. I subscribed after watching the first video about camping inside Optimus Prime. On July 7, I became a proud owner of a Tesla model Y. Thanks for the great content.
Adore those driving timelapse sections 😍
P.S. The irony is that i don't remember how i found the channel and first watched videos (maybe that was some eGolf test, may be not), but since then i'm addicted. And bought afterwards my first piece of shit car (c) 😅 EV 24 eGolf, lol.
Hi Bjørn, I found your channel because of the banana box test a few month ago :) since that time I`m watching your videos, keep going! I really appreciate it. I like "Totenflak" it sounds musty for a German. But this are the funny moments, that make me laugh.
I sleep in my e-Niro in an inflatable matress made for cars and pumping it is much easier than what you made it look like. No need to take it outside. 2 minute job. Confort is very good and once folded up, does not take space. Love it. Already slept like 10 times on it. e-Niro for the win! And by the way, I made the shades by my self. Just bought a 20€ roll on amazon and the suction cups and cut them to fit perfectly.
I have used several other inflatable matresses before and had no problem pumping them up inside the car (even when I'm inside myself). This one was quite large. You have to experience it yourself to understand.
I found your channel while searching for infos about EV’s in 2017. I considered to buy one soon. In September 2018 I bought a used Renault Zoe. So you “influence” me since three years now. 😄
I don’t remember entirely, but I think I stumbled across your viral Optimus Prime Vids; the squishing things with falcon wing doors, competitions in pulling and off-roading haha
I don't get it why cutting trees to make wooden (1-use) utensils is considered environmental... The plastic waste is reduced but so are the trees.
Lol no! Its from sustainable cutting and selective logging... Deforestation is mainly used for crops and not wood itself...
@@DG-uv3zw In theory - yes. Most of the time manufacturers buy lumber from everyone that sells it... and illegal cutting is popular.
@@PenkoAngelov I doubt country like Norway will allow that, but I agree with you.
In countries like Norway, Sweden, Finland when you cut trees, you must plant new ones. So the amount of forest newer gets smaller. And the utensils will break down sooner than plastic ones.
