The MCD1 portion of the build is now complete and she's headed home with her owner Alan of TOTL Innovations (totlinnovation...) who will get her trail worthy. I think entering the jeep market is a great idea, I'm a jeep guy and I've always wondered how sick it would be if you built one using the skills you have learned from building custom prerunners. you are an artist morgan

    The fact you can’t see the shocks in the front is crazy very tasteful build
    I did an XJ build couple years ago kings 2.5 simple hoops man it was a lot of work for me stock motor, the amount of hours in this is crazy.

    Another piece of automotive art Morgan. I kept getting surprised by when you started showing all the features from the custom frame to the modular design to the rock sliders and on and on. You seem to have figured out how to build a Jeep BTW. Great work.

    Sick and so amazing how 2 different industries can produce by working together! Is that U... cutting board material the same that people put under their mini boat hulls? And why did you not have it in the gas tank?

  • @gwood69

    What a crazy amazing build. But something has to get done with that rear bumper sticks out like a sore thumb figuratively and literally lol and still rocking the stick gas tank skid. Makes me very curious. Still an awesome build though things gonna be a monster

    With all the custom work, why not a custom 7 slot grille out of aluminum so it doesn’t look like a stock grille that’s all butchered up like what you got on there?

    I do want to know how you build chassis structures into body structures doesn't the body move independently from chassis due to factory body mounts?
    Cheers love ya work!!

    This rig has to be at least 250k, Give me this rig towing the Reconn R4 Tandem and I'll be good to go. I wonder with all the fab work can you toss on a set of Bestop Core Doors for those summer days. Man I hope to see on the Ultimate Adventure series one day.

    • @Troche571
      @Troche571 2 года назад

      I'm not going to bother editing the dumb as.. comment about the core doors; with all this fab work you can build out your own set of custom doors that tie in the tube work and even the UFW...

    I'm curious why not do a triangulated 4 link in the rear to eliminate the "pan hard shuffle". Was it just packaging at that point?

    • @totlinnovations3134
      @totlinnovations3134 2 года назад

      Packaging. In order to do a triangulated 4 link, you have to relocate the gas tank behind the rear axle. I didnt want to do that for several reasons.

    • @matthewthiessen474

    UHMW metal is it $$$$$.?

    • @gravitygear
      @gravitygear 2 года назад +1

      UHMW = Ultra high molecular weight. You can get it as a Metal Detectable material, but it's not METAL. It's typically used as high resilience wear items in industrial applications. Cheaper than metal. Check out Tivar MD for more info.

    • @fish_built
      @fish_built 2 года назад +1

      UHMW is short-hand for UHMW HDPE typically, meaning ultra high molecular weight high density polyethylene. Just a very very dense, heavy, long chain polymer, not a metal though.

    • @MrKustomwon
      @MrKustomwon 2 года назад +1

      to simplify... Same material as a plastic cutting board, and works the same way.
