Beautiful dude! I'm a Trekker from day one, and a life long modeller. Love those hybrid engines! Original in front; refit in back! That's what we should've seen in The Motion Picture! Similar to an idea I have for building a custom model of the Phase II Enterprise, which I see as a technological transition from the TOS ship to the movie refit. Since we never really saw it on film as "canon", and there are so many different designs and illustrations out there for this ship, I've decided to take all the best and most interesting details in all the source materials and build them into one model. Mine will have the lighted deflector, but with a solid dish too. And more compact impulse engines, an updated bridge with the two turbo lifts and more windows like I saw in one of the illustrations on the back of a comic book. Also drawing from the Phase II book by the Steven's, the work of Matt Jeffries and Mike Minor and several other illustrators: a couple of posters and the many different videos on RUclips, including yours. Once I get around to doing it, I think it's gonna be a really nice part of my Enterprise history display from the sailing ships to the Star ships. Thanks for adding this extra bit of inspiration to my project. Love watching your videos. Keep 'em coming!
This wonderful video clearly depicts an amazing franchise's proud heritage of a class of ship that can display it's *vaccination* card with love & respect!
The nacelles are a little different from what I remembered of the Constitution Class Refit but then again this is a prototype. A stellar effort and a fun watch. Thanks for spending time and effort producing it! 🙂

Really like the old TOS bussard collectors on the refit warp nacelles. Nice touch. Big missed chance in eliminating that too thin neck pylon and making it somewhat structurally sturdier though.
Ive always likes the lines of this design. Like a 59 chevy Impala. Why is the photon torpedo launcher area of this ship different than that of the enterprise refit?
It's a beautifully done video, but there is so much wrong with it canonically I don't even know where to begin. How about: 1.) The Constitution-class were registered under the Naval Construction Code series 1700. The Excelsior-class utilized the NCC-2000 series (with the obvious exception of the Enterprise-B). 2.) U.S.S. Enterprise (NCC-1701) was the original Constitution-class refit prototype. 3.) The Constitution-class, refit or otherwise, does not have aft torpedo launchers or phaser banks, a noted design flaw. 4.) The Constitution refit did away with the glowing Bussard collectors on the warp nacelles. 5.) It is unclear in canon if any of the other Constitution-class starships were refit like Enterprise was. It is entirely possible that they were all scrapped in favor of brand new starships built on the Enterprise refit blueprint.
From _'witch'_ other forms are copied? C'mon Man! BTW, it's a nice render but the Bussard collectors look like somebody went to Target and bought a bunch of LED Christmas lights.

That seems to be using the single torpedo unit originally slated for the phase 2 enterprise ^_^
I think that theoretically, a prototype refit would have had the new warp nacelles but the old style pylons.
