@@bluesnake1713 Actually you can improve unarmed damage through the Heavy Armor skill tree in Skyrim. Also another tip, potions of archery improve your unarmed as well.
Hand to hand in Skyrim had some uses. If you did not want to level up by using a weapon/magic when playing a pacifist character or mage who has run out of magic you use fists. Also if you used it with a shout (can't remeber the name but it reduces armor) you could punch a dragon to death easily with a shout. Oblivion leveling up was complicated, and sometimes you did not want to level up a certain skill when going for max attributes and had no options for a weapon.
The abysmal dice roll system in early gameplay was the only thing I didn’t like about Morrowind. If it used perks and no rng like Oblivion or Skyrim it would’ve been a damn near perfect system. I miss spears, thrown weapons, and advanced magic systems. Was magic broken? Yes. It was also a pretty lore friendly broken magic system, considering you have relatively easy-to-find figures with the ability to alter the landscape with their power. Magic isn’t supposed to be fair, that’s why prodigy mages forego literally everything else in life in order to essentially become demigods.
Perks are boring in TES games, they remove even more rpg aspects and dumb things down further, which seems to be what you want. The Dice roll system is easy if you figure it, which I'll admit the game does a trash job at explaining. Have the right stat if you wanna use melee (Agility) Use power attacks which bump up your default chance to hit proper stamina management Use melee weapons your spec'd for. Doing things right would result in little issue with the dice rolls unless you're going at someone who completely fucking outclasses you. It's barely rng and it actually shows your characters skill, similar to lock picking. It isn't a shitty mini game which tests the 'players' skill it's a system that shows your 'characters' skill. You just want baby's first 'swing wildly until bad guy dead' that TES devolved into.
@@uberness77 Basically this. It took me a while, but then I learnwd that if you keep the mouse pressed and have the camera move in the way the weapon would if you lifted it for an overhead attack, it would pretty much work 70% of the time on low stat weapons and 95% on high stat ones. Or just stock up at least 5-9 magic rings and just as many small enchanted weapons to shoot unlimited spells. And learn thw Icarian Jump spell from the console commands. That, with featherfall enchanted Brotherhood mask and boots of Blinding Speed makes running around much faster. Plus, falling down from the sky to smash someone's head in with Sunder looks dope.
If you want it to work in Skyrim, you need a lot of Fortify Heavy Armor and the perk that increases your Unarmed damage by your gauntlets armor rating. Also: an enchantment for extra Unarmed damage helps.
Let's not forget all the times when an enemy throws an attack that you were about to easily dodge or interrupt, but unknown to you; today is the day Nocturnal decided she didn't like you and Akatosh wanted his soul back, so the enemy pulls an instant execute animation on you despite you being nowhere near dying. Or alternatively, your execute animation plays, but it only slows you down not your enemy, so they dodge your attack and kill you before you are able to move your character again (since there's no cancel animation button).
I mean, hand-to-hand was basically split between Heavy armour, smithing and Enchanting. Also, the Vampire gauntlets from Dawnguard DLC should give a passive bonus to unarmed since they're basically armoured catwoman gloves
Clearly nobody here has actually tried hand to hand in Skyrim beyond mashing left click a few times. The power of the suplex is legendary. Which is funny considering the terrible animations of mashing left click.

Have the right stat if you wanna use melee (Agility)
Use power attacks which bump up your default chance to hit
proper stamina management
Use melee weapons your spec'd for.
Skyrim: "Laughs in fortify restoration glitch that gets me 9000% unarmed damage."
If you want it to work in Skyrim, you need a lot of Fortify Heavy Armor and the perk that increases your Unarmed damage by your gauntlets armor rating.
Also: an enchantment for extra Unarmed damage helps.
the man of a million memes
don't stop
you know...
skyrim hand-to-hand isn't its own skill, but you can still one-shot with it if you have decent enchanting and heavy armor
Gloves of the Pugilist Khajiit can kill dragons with bare hands. Would recommend
But that small chance to get a suplex animation in Skyrim is worth it!
Maybe.
Probably?
Eh...
God I love that movie
I recently gave my mage character a bit of hand to hand training and it's been very helpful.
i've never heard anybody refer to their genitals as "my mage character"
i’ve never heard anybody refer to their genitals as “my mage character”
Are you a great magician?
@@Dennis-nc3vw If you consider spamming summons then wailing on the enemy while their distracted great then yeah
@@paintedpig3021 can you change people's clothes from red to black?
The unarmed finishers tho.. that is legit.
FUCKING TRUE
My and my cousin enter kung pow many times when we were young and I’m glad it’s getting the meme attention now
This movie has so much to give. Awesome to see someone finally taps into it's potential. Gneeeeeeeeh.
Punches in Oblivion were fast af and had a good sound effect
god i miss when hand to hand was a skill you could use.
Hand to hand in Fallout games is like Hit from Dragon Ball Super skipping through time to punch his opponents instantly. Like the 'Blitz' perk.
Hand to hand combat was screwed over in Skyrim
Most skills were, unfortunately.
I mean, hand-to-hand was basically split between Heavy armour, smithing and Enchanting. Also, the Vampire gauntlets from Dawnguard DLC should give a passive bonus to unarmed since they're basically armoured catwoman gloves
It's unbelievable how accurate this is..
Chosen One is not the Grand Champion The Imperial City Arena deserves. But he is the one it needs.
These are so goddamn good. They make me want to watch Kung Pow again, and play through Morrowind for the millionth time.
Clearly nobody here has actually tried hand to hand in Skyrim beyond mashing left click a few times. The power of the suplex is legendary. Which is funny considering the terrible animations of mashing left click.
Morrowind and Oblivion: Martial artist.
Skyrim with gloves of the Pugilist:
Supreme Suplexer.
Oblivion is still the inferior to morrowind and skirim :P
Ahhhhhh, the chosen one. Thrown in the bottom of gully, raised by animals. I love these the most.
You’re cutting through the Yellow Team like a knife through scrib jelly!
The damn oblivion level up sound scared the fuck outta me. (It's 11 pm where I'm at, and it sounded like door knocking)
hand to hand in skyrim, but with the gloves of pugilism
Lmao my favorite movie when I was younger to elder scrolls memes.. life may not be so bad afterall
Coverage of one of my favorite semi-obscure movies set in one of my favorite semi-obscure video game titles? I'll take this as a present and thank you sir
You really got me. I thought it was actual gameplay at first
