American Valley Speedway - Trophy Run Street Stocks - Winner 10 year old Grayson Olschowka

A couple off weeks ago at the American Valley Speedway in Quincy, California, we went to support Alan Beck in the Winged Sprint Car category. We were happily surprised with the street stock category and saw some great races. The trophy run portion of the racing was won by 10-year old, local racing sensation, Grayson Olschowka! Yes, 10 years old! From what I understand from other racing fans in the well attended event, this young man has been racing professionally since he was 8-years old! He is from Lovelock, Nevada, a favorite hiking location of mine.
At Lovelock Speedway last year in the Street Stocks 10-year-old Grayson Olschowka, was the champion! At the racing in Quincy, he made it to the finals, but also to the trophy run, for winning his heat race. Not only did he get to race in the trophy run, he won it! This is how racing legends are born - young! In this Trophy Run race, Grayson is in race car number 1.

The racing in north-west Nevada and Northern California is enjoyable. Seeing such a young rising star like 10-year old Grayson is quite remarkable!
