- In today's tenth instalment on the Angel Islington, Tristán White and Sharon Crawford aren't in Islington at all, but popped over to check out the nearby commercial development in the Granary Square area behind Kings Cross station, an area Tristán fondly remembers from his clubbing days. They visit Word on the Water, a floating bookshop on the Regent's Canal, then the newly redeveloped Camley Street Natural Park. They talk about the fountains of Granary Square, and how the square got its name. Then it's a quick game of curling courtesy of Club Curling, followed by some retail therapy. They visit Kitchen Provisions, the Mexican Christmas Market, talk to The Artisan Partnership about baskets weaved in San Luis Amatlán in Oaxaca, buy some chili paste from the Chili Maven on her launch day, sample the amazing oysters at Rocks Oysters inside the Canopy Market, and try a CBD-infused cocktail at the INTUNE van. Will this help Tristán, at least, realise that the area's regeneration isn't too bad after all?

Thank you. Please remember to SHARE our videos, it's the best way for us to get our message out there. We're close to reaching our targets for monetisation but need that extra push! Love Your London! Love you!
Love the tiny nature preserve!
It's so sweet. It was closed for years so it was nice to get back there.
Nice!
Wicked and I feel your pain about the old good places gone...to gentrification.
Yes, it's happening all over London. Clubland is limited to just a few mainstream places now. Very sad.
Oh, you seem to have missed the massive model of London in the Coal Drops Yard. Shame, I'm sure you would enjoy it. Next time.
Ahhhh. I missed it. We will be back, though. Hopefully it will still be there! Don't know how we missed it....
@@LoveYourLondon To be fair, they keep it well hidden.
A lot of heavy breathing here.
We are going to invest in a better microphone that hopefully I won't need to keep so close to my mouth. We're limited by our budget at the moment. It's a good mic but it's mainly designed for buskers. Hopefully later this year we will treat ourselves to some better kit!
