very thorough review, nice job
thanks for the video and honest review
For the resolution problem in PC games, back in the day I had a GPD Win 1 and I remember that I was able to add customs resolutions through the Intel video settings in windows. I know this Win600 runs on AMD, but try to look for adding custom resolutions in AMD devices. Maybe the option is there too.
Nice review! I appreciate when people go in depth with details rather than glossing over things like popular channels usually do (Just watch Marque Browning or Linus review handheld PCs and you'll see what I mean). When you're thinking about dropping hundreds of dollars on devices like this it's nice to know little things to ensure you don't regret your purchase.
(As far as this device I'd like to snag one cheap for visual novels and small 2D stuff, but it really does seem lackluster in many ways.)
Thanks for the honest review.
I purchased asus rog ally instead.
Are you enjoying playing less than a hour on Ally?
@@CWormyou get the same battery life with the Win600 lmao! Get a Loki Zero, has a larger battery than even the Steam Deck so you can play 2 hours instead of 1 haha!!!!
Have you tried to update the Bluetooth driver using Snappy Driver Installer? That might fix the lag..
Now that I’ve seen the specs and viewed over all the options I have and finally with a review I can firmly say this is worth the 300 Bucks I got with me I’ll look forward into buying one of these into the future 😊
Did you end up buying one?
@@eliezergutierrez2472 ended up getting a used steam deck for 450
@@SUPERSAIYANGODSUPERSAIYANEVOLV A way better choice, I was thinking you got ripped off when you could've bought the AyaNeo Air or that one mini model from AYN that is currently sold out/discontinued. AyaNeo keeps making revisions to the Air so I don't know what exactly was available a year ago, their current Air is more powerful and cheaper than this thing. Every one of them is a Chinese product, so that doesn't inspire confidence in the longevity of the devices. No worries with the Steam Deck.
Guys, I am having a good experience with Holo OS Win600 - looks like a Steamdeck, emulators runs very well! Since I bought a Steamdeck, I am using win600 to emulate games only. What a nice and wonderful machine!
Emulators run better on the Steam Deck. This thing is e-waste.
Looks kind of dinky. Good video, though!
I am concerned about the analog sticks quality. Do you feel the bad quality of them while playing? Are they easily replaceable with good ones ? Would you recommend any ?
Thank you for the great review 👍
the sticks are terrible, you definetly feel that they're very unprecise, and even if you swap the sticks for lets say the hall sensing gulikit ones the precision of the stick itself won't change, it must be updated by anbernic through software, the sticks are ok for adventure games, platform games, and even racing games but forget it if you plan to play shooters
@VKsChannel thank you for your reply. I was ready to buy it but the issue with the sticks is a red card for me. That's a shame... I am looking for an affordable low powered x86 handheld not bigger than a NSW but it seems there's not. Trend is expensive high-end CPU. Hope such a handheld will pop-up at some point
@@subzero66777 try the loki zero it might be a good one for you as it solves that analoge issue

🙂
Can I plug in this keyboard and mouse controller like the DarkWalker shotpat
So what's the best handheld someone can buy now?
How did you download the emulator and games
Considering everything what would be the price that would make you recommend it to others?
I mean I wouldn't recommend at any price
Anbernic needs to fix at least the analog sticks and the bluetooth
Unless you plan to use it as a portable desktop pc it's not worth buying

Can it run ps+ premium natively
How do save your games?
which one is better in terms of performance in emulation odin pro or win 600?
win600, you can play Wii U games, I think odyn can't
Where can we buy the ps4 hall sense effect plus calibrating board that you showed from bilibili .
Its on the video description
I'm referring to the newer calibrating boards made for ps4/ps5 and Xbox with k silver hall sense
❤
Hi, a question: can you install games on an external hard drive and start the games directly from the external hard drive? so as not to take up all the console memory? A thousand thanks
Yes it will work just like a pc
But I recommend using a pendrive or even an SSD as a harddrive will drain too much energy from the console and may end up frying the usb port under extensive usage
@@VKsChannel Ok thank you very much, another question: is there an Italian language for the Windows system?
Looks like it's woefully unrefined. Hopefully Anbernic learns lessons from this and puts out a better product in the future.
salve meu mano !
Salve! amigo
ta salvado em nome de jesus
its fine for running batocera and emulating retro games and wii gamecube but thats it....not gonna play any AA windows game good
Let's also hope that Anbernic actually prices the win701 legit.
I don't really care about Anbernic because of how they price their products and I remember when the win600 was announced, I was interested in possibly getting one... until they revealed the prices.
Not to mention, reviews started coming out for this thing and for the most part, they were all mixed.
too big for me, if they had made it a clamshell it could’ve been smaller
Always looked extremely ugly to me, even if it had beast performance i wouldn't touch it
This is made by CCP😂
my goodness glad I don't buy it. The analog stick is worst, and the performance isnt that great. The price is almost similar to steam deck in my place
Value isn't; Steam Deck beats it easily. If it was $250 then it could be an alternative but this is jank. No reason not to pay extra for customization options, better quality and experience out of box.
Not buying this crap
worst device ever, buy steam deck or rog ally instead
Thing sucks! Get a Loki Zero instead.
