I think nowadays a big weakness is to see what art is. Dark Tranquillity is art. Wonderful musicans near to their supporters. There is no stage huge enough for them. Play forever Dark Tranquillity. Your work ist amazing. Looking forward to the next album and the next live show. Whenever Whereever.
Mikael's clean vocals are amazing! He should use it more times.
I was at Wacken as every year. IMO, Wacken made a huge mistake by putting DT into this tent. If a band like Sabaton may perform at the main stage, DT should not have attended Wacken, and from now on should not attend any more. Such a supreme band in that f** circus. What a shame! Hail to Gothenburg School and Dark Tranquillity. Shame on Wacken Open Air, shame on ...

Shame on you Wacken, that was bloody weak :D That's no way to to treat one of the pioneers of bloody Melodeath scene and giants/such an awesome f*** band such as DT! At least it made me remember what legendary performance they had on my birthday 2 years ago.
DT, you better get your arses back to Zagreb soon, Mikael can lose his voice by the end of it once more, and we'll get you drunk with fine beer (and fat with good homemade food)!

I just discovered DT a few weaks ago and have to say, that they aren't only pioneers. They are still genius. Listened and enjoyed much of there songs meanwhile. They've managed to change some things over the years and always stayed DT and delivered so good stuff. Right on!
Dark tranquillity always delivers insane concerts. I went to D.T. concert years ago, and yet i remember the beat in my brains. Some bands, if you have the opportunity to attend, don't let it pass, like Amon Amarth, Dark Tranquillity and Primmordial.
So crazy to have a band this good on the smaller stage. Makes no sense.
Also...man, what a good song Misery's Crown is. Top notch songwriting.
DT is by far the best live band. The best show of my life was with them. Amazing!

These men have been with me since the early 90s. Fantastic musicians and what a stage presence. No matter what the size of the stage, go see them and be impressed as I have been for 30 years.
Everybody shits on Construct but the fact that they recognized their best 3 songs during this time is gorgeous. I still appreciate that record for what it is.

He's still in the band but has taken a hiatus from touring to be with his young kid(s). He still does the band's artwork/design for all merchandise, etc., and wrote some songs on Atoma (and presumably on the new album they're working on).
