Thanks for watching and all the feedback, we love to hear your thoughts!
Quality job, it looks vert functional and well made. Thanks for filming his, some great ideas.
Thanks Mike! Been following your build for about a year now, i too take a lot of inspiration from your tips and tricks
Awesome work done here ! Pretty clean too !
Haven't seen anyone taking advantage of wasted volume in XJ cargo area walls. Go back to 4:16 in your video, look at all the storage volume wasted behind the OEM wall trim panels. On the left, remove 4 bolts to remove vertical bracket used for anchoring spare tire, which you aren't going to reinstall inside. Install locking metal boxes maybe draping carpet sides for cncealment instead of the OEM panels. Magnets can attach items to inner side of exterior body sheet metal, or with a flange box design...think wall mounted gun safe....the box can be mounted to the metal around the holes. Or angle PVC tube lengths to make utensil storage. I see room to mount an AR15 and Mossberg Shockwave shotgun in scabbards, each side, plus ammo. But, then, I see the XJ roof as being intended to cut a hole in from where to fire one of my Barrett M107A1s or MRADS. But, that's just the imagination in me.....
Great build thanks for sharing. Need more ideas for XJ owners!
Awesome build man! Well done 👍
Looks great. I would remove the carpet over the wheel wells in the back seat and raptor coat them, I reckon it would look good!
Uff that is an incredible color
Looking great
Nice man, coming along! Your tail light works. What I'm going to do is run an LED strip across that "boot"/hatch. Make a switch. Hidden, light weight.
That’s a good idea! I did think about something like that for this but when the dealer came round with this light bar I thought it would be handy for multiple uses. Will end putting some lights in the storage set I think
@@kruze4x4 Got it done. Just an "RV light". www.cherokeeforum.com/f59/what-did-you-do-your-cherokee-today-145940/index6250/#post3649740
@@GF_Burke nice one mate! Looks epic, done a sweet job of that 👍🏻
Where can one buy that light you have? The build is very nice, I recently purchased a one owner '98 Cherokee Sport in excellent shape which will be my overlander.
Looking good
With some PVC pipe and a suitable tarp, you could make a rain fly that would be lightweight, compact when stored, and would cover the kitchen and a modest dining area.
What’s the roof bar u using ? Or can you send link ?
Know it’s probably some universal rain gutter mount but would def like the link
Nice! 👍
👍
👍🏻
What the light called for the hatch?
What gears are you running?
I've never seen an xj with rear seat head rests in America lol. Dead give away other than your accent and license plate
It's always funny to me seeing how fancy the export XJs are. I daily a base model so seeing these is almost like a different vehicle lol
, awesome 👍
please, please order a trailer hitch from america and not trust that dinky thing for anything. The best thing about adding it would be a rear recovery point. I'll even send you one.
