How well did the Terra Masters do vs other popular rock crawling tires? I currently have Sedona Rocka Billy tires and may want to change in the future. My riding is mostly trail, light mud, and hills. Only occasional rock crawls, and I keep it pretty tame since mine is a mostly stock RZR 900S.
Nice review, you now have a new subscriber! I might have got one of these instead of my rzr if they had them out at the time. I’m really liking the design of the sport and the features of the rc model. What do you think would be the max tires size before running into scrubbing issues?
The TerraMasters seemed to work well, but I'm curious as to why you didn't mount them with the other side out? That's the side that Kanati recommends for hard terrain.
@@UTVGuide101 Yeah, that's interesting because all of Kanatis promotional material about the tire says that "Side B" (the side with the smaller lugs spaced closer together) should be out for rocks and hard packed surfaces, while "Side A" (the side that you have out) should be on the outside for loose and sandy terrain. It's interesting that they told you to run it that way!
I am tempted to go 35s with some portal boxes on mine; but i'm wondering with the added height from the boxes and tires if it won't be too tall/tippy... granted the boxes do add some width as well... wonder if there's enough adjustability in the suspension to maybe lower it a bit - and save the damn u joints a bit. 1400 miles on the original belt, but on its 3rd rear axle shaft now, at stock height... Anyone run portals and 35s?
@@UTVGuide101 Fair enough, Seems like the perfect application to remove front and back. Looks like it already is doing an awesome job the way it is. Great video. Looks like and awesome ride
@@UTVGuide101 I know this is old. I have this machine. Headed to Sand Hollow in two weeks. As far as the sway bars, Just one bolt can be removed from each to disable them. They don't rattle or hit anything. Then later, the bolt can be re-inserted anytime you want in one minute.
This new Maverick platform is so versatile. It's fantastic!
Watching these Sand Hollow videos makes me want to move to Utah
Right?! This area is a mecca for outdoor activities.
CST RALLY was a great time. I got to guide for three days.

Great Review of a very nice Machine! Would love to have one.

Jacob H not sure you could fit more than a 33”
How much is this machine?
Looks impressive. If they made the RC in a 4 seater, I’d buy one! How does the quality compare to the Polaris?
Brandon Giles Seems like a pretty cool machine. Double Sammy is a great trial! How did it compare to the X3 RC on the rocks?

bigbluegpr We were rock crawling and this is the way they suggested

bigbluegpr well, Sand Hollow is a mix of rocks and sand

I wanted this machine til I seen the price
2 RC models above this one, so take a breath.
How bad was top end hurt with the 33s
30-->33 is a sizeable jump in tire size. The Sport RC has a naturally aspirated 100HP Rotax
Yeah thats what im worried about. Im in a og mav turbo at 121hp but im digging the rc sport. Easy belt changes making me envious.
Why not remove rear sway bar as well?
NCdragon21 step at a time

@@NCdragon21 For pure rock crawling, I don't mind removing both. But we tend to do more that just rocks and I like to have the rear on for that.

With larger tires was there any rubbing in front ?
Did you watch the video? LOL No clearance issues that we found.
@@UTVGuide101 might have missed you saying something. It's all good and it looked quite capable and fun!
Jaran Higley just giving you a hard time!
Yoshimura exhaust?
Cody Edwards yes
Any video I can get a good idea on the sound? I just got a 19 sport XMR And want to know the sound before I spend $800 on it if possible.
Cody Edwards too loud for our taste
