    Yes! Having this tonight. I am a South African, living abroad (your part of the world) and miss having this in the old Portuguese restaurants in the South of Johannesburg.
    Your version certainly gets my stamp of approval.

    Looks amazing. I'm impressed, Meneer. I would add some fresh coriander when you sautéing the onions saute the whole onion makes the gravy thicker and then add fresh coriander at the end as a garnish.

      @HaydenQuinn The more onions you use, the more you will increase the sauce, and it will be slightly thicker in consistency, so instead of 1/2 a onion, the whole one would do great, try it next time, saute it a bit longer too. Other than that, saloot my bro

    I'm sure the recipe is great but you talk the interest out of me. Why can't we just stick to the recipe?! I will not be using this recipe.
