I was only familiar with a couple of the actors prior to this movie but I must say they all sold me their characters. I was fussing, clapping, and sad throughout the movie! Tyler did a great job with this one!
Give the interviewer his props. He engaged all of them. Some questions were flat but all in all he did great. To interview 9 people in less than 15 mns 👏👏👏👏

I'm so tired of ppl like you and your need to be center stage at everything. As blacks, we have gone through hell and then some. You can hide sexuality more often than race. And it's really sad that you couldn't enjoy this movie because you needed to see "you". Go look in a mirror and commit the image to memory. I'm so happy no gays were in this movie because then it would have been disingenuous like everything else on screen today where some lgbtagsh person is thrown into a scene...for what?! No purpose but just because "representation matters". Well, we need to see more of every group out there on the planet if that's the case. You and your black fist against a rainbow...you need help! Narcissistic behavior in full display and you don't even know it. Smh!

Also, no one up there needed to do anything more than the fantastic job they did telling the story about colorism, racism, incest, etc. Lgbtq was not a needed topic. There are so many more important things happening in our world than what a fraction of the populace is telling us. I don’t buy it. And "you's a lie and a half" to say lgbtq need more representation. I see more gay ppl on screen, advertising, music, news, etc than ever before. Is that not good enough?! Lgbtq have never before been as represented as they are now. Give an inch applies here. Get a life apart from your sexual identity, please and thank you.

Interviewer really did a nice job of equally acknowledging each one. His questions were even balanced very well. Some interviewers view some as more important or their character as more significant than others and therefore they don't even bother asking certain questions of certain ones - he did a great job though! He displayed a balanced level of respect for them all respectively. 👍🏾 Good interview! Looking forward to seeing this movie! Excited about seeing the chorography by the Legendary, Ms. Debbie Allen!!! 😉

While watching the film I was so ticked off at the characters but I realize that good movies are supposed to evoke different emotions. The end with that Ruth B song was gut wrenching.

Kudo's to Tyler Perry for this movie👍It touched on a lot of issues, from the intra-racism within the family unit, sibling rivalry, incest and the self-hatred that lead to passing for white instead owning the black ancestry. These are issues within the black community that needs to be discussed more. Thank you Tyler for continuing to spring board the healing process for your community. God knows we need it.

I watched. Wow. Soooo deep. Much needed now. Maybe some folks can look at how they treat people. Sooo good, and I wasn't ready for how deep it was going to be. Couldn't sleep afterwards. Talking to myself like why did she do that? And how you think he gonna pass for ??. I was definitely crying and thanking my God I was born when I was. That was a very hard life.

BIG THANKS to #tylerperry , #tylerperrymovies, and #tylerperrystudios for bringing such an excellent movie to the big screen. I enjoyed every minute of this movie, but I was on the edge of my seat during the movie. I was nervous as hell for Bayou and his mom. Great performances by the handsome Joshua Boone and the three beauties, Solea Pfeifer, Amirah Vann and Milauna Jackson.
Ryan Eggold and Austin Scott also gave stellar performances in their respective supporting roles. Hats off to all the actors , actresses and film crew in #jazzmansblues 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👍🏽👍🏽❤️❤️
