When I was in Venice, I walked into a random cathedral where some artist was playing the organ. It was like this, somewhat, and I just froze and stood there.
I noticed after a while that I wasn't alone, dozens and dozens of people just stood there, listening. The organ is a mighty instrument indeed.

Well damn… I never realized this before, but now every time I hear epic organ music, I can’t help but think of a dramatic well dressed face off between the protagonist and antagonist in the climax of a Japanese anime… my brain officially has anime rot…

It's the "great sauer organ" in Berlin.
Oh wow! I thought the use of organ as an instrument in American Catholic Churches were absolutely boring, that I wish they'd just use piano the whole way. They play it so plain and slow.
But then when I went to the Major Basilicas in Rome and in the Vatican, they played the organ kind of like this, where it was played fast, and almost other-worldly.
At that moment when they played, I felt like I was in a whole different realm. This is the way organs should be played! Not the shoddy boring American boomer way meant to cradle babies.
I'm no musician though. I'm more of a visual artist focused in drawing. The core of art though I figure, is the drama and story behind it--not self-expression, but story. Unity in multiplicity.
