One of my biggest problems to my art, I think, is my obsession with adding detail everywhere. Especially where it isn't needed. If I don't, it feels like I'm slacking or the painting feels incomplete, but then the image begins to feel stiff because of it. My goal this year is to try and simplify my paintings.
I like the boxes from the last painting, they look interesting, cartoony and the wall from the second study, but I'm most amazed by the VR process. Also, the way the tools shake in this program is funny 😄 The thing I like to improve in my digital painting is edge sharpness, and avoiding muddy colours. The Lasso tool is helpful, I try to use it often.
Great episode, thank you
