I've watched several of your videos and today decided to become a new subscriber to your channel .You've got a very cool demeanor about you and I really appreciate all your contributions to RUclips. Thanks for all your hard work and I want to see you become even more successful.... you deserve it man!
I know a whole community of people who are waiting on delivery of new Model 3s with white interiors. Some January orders are seeing delivery dates in August. Tesla could make a lot of people happy (and make money) by delivering the white interiors.
As a technologist, there is a method to the madness on FSD. If you remove hundreds of thousands line of code from the software in favor of an AI collective “neural” network, the long pole in the tent becomes the size of the neural net. Hence the free month to stir interest, followed by reduced subscription pricing. It’s the only method available to Tesla to improve the FSD software going forward.
It’s not the number of recalls, it’s the fact it can lead to uncontrolled acceleration in a 23 tonne behemoth that accelerates like a scalded cat. It’s not a wire MAY chafe over time that might cause a fire if it’s 110 degrees outside and you park in dry grass kind of recall.
I have been watching the Tesla market now for about 18 months and have been tempted to pull the trigger several times. Just today I was outbid on Cars & Bids on a 2018 Model S 75D that ended up selling for $19,750. It’s been in Arizona for its entire life with one owner and I was SO tempted to place another bid at the deadline. Once again I’m second guessing myself… should I just find a low mileage Model Y now? Thoughts?
I would certainly try for a newer model than 2018. Tech has come a long way and Tesla is starting to ‘phase out’ older models by giving them less features via software updates. A low mileage Y is a better choice, but will cost more. Thanks for watching! Buying a used one from Tesla will get you a longer warranty and sometimes extra perks like FSD or Acceleration Boost.
You’re completely right, maybe it’s time for a new ceo, I drove the M3 LR red with white interior and it was awesome except for the indicator on the steer, that is one of the strangest move ever. Hopefully one day the lissen more to the customers, because competition is coming.
I have a 23 M3 that I picked up on 12/22/23, I have AMD Ryzen. I wonder if there is something about the Intel models that will not run the software? Edit: spellcheck does not like the spelling of Ryzen
It’s not only tesla, all automakers struggle with sales and production, i believe they need to announce the 25k car asap, and hopefully there will be better economic times ahead.
If the software can monitor your eye movements, record your driving habits, take over control if it deems fit... how much extra do they charge, to guarantee this software will never, under any circumstances, be installed in your car?
It’s the interest rates being too high, and the economy too weak. Neither of which is under Elon’s control. Price cuts are the only alternative to spur sales (and freebie FSD to increase the take rate). Some will take advantage of it.
So the stock jumps due to more promises from the con man to build more cheaper cars. People will never learn not to believe a single promise from the con man.
Musk has always been erratic and illogical. Beginning with panel gaps and other defects upon delivery, then to FSD pricing nonsense, I have lost confidence in Tesla.
Bet you are a Orange Man Bad kind of guy. Try this. Look into what the future will be, it’s happening one way or another. And Tesla is insanely ahead of any other car company. Just see this further out, hope this helps.
@@danielvandermerwe7921 it’s simply whacky to trust Elon musk. ‘Funding secured’ finally and completely cratered any credibility he had left for being honest. At least to those who paid attention and understand how serious and unlawful that particular lie was.
BEVs are dead - stick a fork in them. Long live the hybrid or just go back to ICE cars nothing wrong with them. What killed the BEV? 1) Range anxiety - throw in below-freezing mornings and 100-degree afternoons, and the range goes to squat 2) Charging anxiety - even Tesla charging stations are now unreliable - stupid Elon opened them to all EVs and they are now clogging up so your wait time can be measured in hours now 3) Resale values have imploded - stupid Elon has gutted the price of his boated inventory and destroyed the resale market for ALL Tesla owners Hybrids don't have any of these problems or just ICE cars

Wow that really means a lot! Thank you very much. Happy to have you along for the ride.

short answer... yes and they should be. The self park release was driven by the need to increase earnings, not because it was ready for production.

Good to know, thanks for commenting!
Funny one day I saw the Yoke wheel add on and the next day, it is gone.

Easy fix. It’s not 23 tons. Don’t scald cats.
All the car manufacturers stock has been going up for a year except Tesla, down 42%.

I bought an inventory MY after April 1 but before they discontinued the discounts around April 11. The inventory discounts were around 3500-5000 off

We are about to find out. I’ll have a video when our cars (and my buddy with the AMD) all get the update. Video soon after 😃

If they just offer zero or 1% interest, their cars would just sell like cupcakes.
