i seen them in concert in essen germany in 1979, they played one song from the flash gordon movie soundtrack which they wrote, it was called the hero, so the movie didnt come out for several months before that

they had a hard rock guitarist and an opera singer, they had pop albums with pop hits, they are not just one thing.
Also listen to both studio and live version of the song called 39'. They can be from hard rock to opera to folk.
