I gotta say sir, You really do a phenomenal job as one of the premier torchbearers of Bond fandom. Your videos provide a fun and informative dash to my weekend coffee. I thank you.
David Thanks for doing this. Awesome in seeing more clues from this upcoming film. Nice watch of course it Omega. Always wanted one. Very pricey..glad you have one.
I love a mystery, I love puzzles, and I love Omega. Excellent content sir! Thank you for all the work you put into your content. This has made me even more excited to see the film 👍🏻
@@TheBondExperience Hey David If it's Possible Please Contact Calvin Dyson for an Interview I'm Doing For The Bond Theory Celebration of Making The 500th Membership Mark. If You can Please Contact Calvin for me. Appreciate Brother and Great Video BTW I'm So Pumped Up for October 8th!!!
Alas the watch was modified with an EMP by Q. It was indeed dormant throughout him wearing it while retired 😏 As for the watch, "it really blew someone's mind." And that Q lab stand was on the C-17 when Bond, Nomi and Q were together. We never saw the brown carrying case the watch comes in though.
The charcoal thing at 15.50 is not on the back of the watch it's on the millinese bracelet ,check your blu ray ,pause it when he's asking q how strong it is , David this has got to be worth at least one more watch video
My speculation is that Cuba could be the location of Safin's lair, hence the coordinates to an island outside of the country? I'm also assuming that Bond will use the EMP to both infiltrate and escape Safin's lair as an action packed third act. It might have other uses throughout the film, but we will just have to wait and see
Anyone else wait for this channel to put up a new video, then get a cup of their favourite coffee and sit back and relax watching it, top channel👍 greetings from Ireland
Great episode. I personally love this watch. I really like wearing it on the nato strap. I also have the mesh bracelet but I’ve not switched it yet. I really believe this is and will always be a classic timepiece.
Before watching this video, I was unsure if weather I liked the watch and would only consider purchasing it if it does something special in the movie. Now thanks to David’s detective work I think it is safe to say that the watch will be memorable for the movie viewers. However, I have always been unable to justify the price of this Omega Seamaster. I bought a new blue dial Seamaster in April so I am unsure if this watch is necessary for me.
Great video David, and some really intriguing details and shots that I've not seen before from the promos and the museum. I've been trying to find out some more details of some of the tools used in the promo shots (and the movie), specifically the case removal and clamp tool Do you or anyone else on here have any info on that? Thanks
I'm just hoping the movie would be released already and no more delays. Its getting ridiculous. Looking forward to seeing the gadgets of the watch being used!
Product placement by 1990s marketing director Jean-Claude Biver... bringing Omega into the movies franchise. Never forget British author Ian Fleming (1908-1964) originally wanted James Bond to wear a Rolex wrist watch as Fleming himself wore a Rolex 1008 and later a Rolex Explorer 1016. A gentleman's choice of timepiece says as much about him as does his Saville Row suit....
Great video! Q’s toolkit is actually a watch toolkit, the tool on the left is for opening the caseback, the other tools except for the knive are for removing links of the bracelet or the pushpins that connect the bracelet to the watch.
Besides the using the map post EMP, the watch should also function fine as it's a mechanical watch. It would be cool if Bond uses the watch compass trick with the map to navigate his way.
I don't like the large Omega hour markers paired with the large hands. My ideal build would be something with Patek hands on the Omega face. Everything looks big like large print books. I'd like a little more dichotomy in the design. I do love that watchband though.
Does this watch come with both straps or individual? I’m sure I read somewhere that it does come with both but I can’t find any info on it. I can only find it with either mesh or nato?
I can only imagine that David walks into an Omega Boutique, he refers to their products as “Omeeguh” and they just exchange a knowing look with one another and roll their eyes.
Sorry, I Like the watch, but I have to avoid this video until after I've seen the film (I've wanted this long & it's so near...-Delayed gratification...uh..I give myself 2 weeks.. er..one hand is doing a Dr.Stranelove & holding the other one back..).
Craigs Bond has become such a bore... I don't want to hear about Bond being old or retired blah blah blah .... Give us a young man excited to be doing his job please... Not another yawn fest with woke granddad Craig.
I gotta say sir,
You really do a phenomenal job as one of the premier torchbearers of Bond fandom. Your videos provide a fun and informative dash to my weekend coffee.
I thank you.
So glad you enjoy them as much as I enjoy making them!
Nice overview with some new information. Perfect length for a morning coffee break from work.
Just in time for a small pot of coffee!
David

Can't wait.
Wont be long now!
I’m worried my expectations for this movie are too high. Watch is stunning and great video David.
It's natural to have high expectations!

Q is really pushing the anti-magnetic rating of Omega's master chronometer certification to the test
Exactly!
A big flex from Omega to actually showcase the 15,000 gauss anti-magnetism in action!!
Alas the watch was modified with an EMP by Q. It was indeed dormant throughout him wearing it while retired 😏

Very nice detective work David. You're making me even more excited to see this baby! Let's hope we get through the next 10 weeks unscathed.
I know what you mean! 10 weeks doesn't seem like a long time but in this world its HUGE!

Great detective work David. I can’t wait for this film release. I hope it is released in theatres and not straight to Amazon prime 🤞
I am sure it will be theatrical (fingers crossed)!
If only this watch legit had this EMP function in real life 😂…
Absolutely cannot wait .
You and me both!
The map in the Omega picture is Cuba.
Good eye!
Could it be the location of Safin's lair? I saw some coordinates outside of the country.
Awesome video David. You were so right.
Thanks man!

I hope that they can come up with a new idea as a watch gadget not just a remake of past Bond movies like live and let die

Excellent. Fun video! It’s all coming together.
Thanks so much!
Enjoyable as ever David. Your videos are like a favourite pair of (JB monogrammed) slippers.
Quite the compliment!

Good one, David! I think there is some Sherlock in there along with James! But, at least they are both British! :-)))))
I am a bit of an Anglophile!
@@TheBondExperience me,too! I tell people my favorite things are Bond, Beatles, and Beefeater (all English) lol
The level of expectations on the film is so high now it's unreal. Thanks for this video
love your work David
So appreciated!
I got one. The titanium is sick! Killer watch.

I always like a video on Bonds watches, one of my earliest Bond memorys was seeing the buzzsaw function on his rolex in LALD
Great video! Q’s toolkit is actually a watch toolkit, the tool on the left is for opening the caseback, the other tools except for the knive are for removing links of the bracelet or the pushpins that connect the bracelet to the watch.
Hi, do you have any idea what model the specific tool in the images for the case back removal/clamp tool is? Thanks
Absolutely fantastic as always David. Now where do I get those props and map to add to my watch 👍🏻🍸.
Great detective work, David!!
Besides the using the map post EMP, the watch should also function fine as it's a mechanical watch. It would be cool if Bond uses the watch compass trick with the map to navigate his way.
Sorry David, I couldn't watch for now as per your Spoliers Alert, but great work! Kind regards from Australia.
I love these videos. Great job David!
The circle in map is Cayo Caiman Grande in Cuba maybe is the location of SAFIN 😉
I don't like the large Omega hour markers paired with the large hands. My ideal build would be something with Patek hands on the Omega face. Everything looks big like large print books. I'd like a little more dichotomy in the design. I do love that watchband though.
The other question is what is circled on the map in the promo picture by Omega and is it a clue to the location of Safin?
Does this watch come with both straps or individual? I’m sure I read somewhere that it does come with both but I can’t find any info on it. I can only find it with either mesh or nato?
The mesh is an additional cost from the standard nato strap. So yes: it is EITHER - not both (unless some promotion comes along).
An EMP generator to blow all electronics to aid his escape?
Could be!
007
What pocket knife was it again?
you are kidding right!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
