Hi Tanya!! 👋😃 Thank you so much for describing all these fantastic new titles so well. I'd heard of none of them until today. I will be in Tokyo soon and see if Kinokuniya Shinjuku or Maruzen Tokyo Station has some of them for me to pick up and read on my trip. I love your channel and am glad to see you're well. 💖📚📚

I always love your videos! Thanks for continuing! I recently watched your commentary on all paperback versions of classics. It was great. Did you ever do the follow up on hardback classic versions? I would greatly enjoy your input on the topic!

Thank you very much! There are still a few hardback editions I want to acquire for this video. As I want to showcase as many editions as I can find. So once I have them all I'll make the video. :)

Top-notch video! Many thanks to the author of the channel for the recommendations! The problem with many people is that they want to take a "magic pill" or get "secret knowledge" and immediately have skills and abilities. However, the truth of life is that knowledge, skills, and abilities do not come by themselves. You can't learn a foreign language without doing anything, without wasting your time and effort, just like you can't learn to ride a bike lying on a comfy couch, listening to lectures and watching videos about "modern methods of learning" on a bike. To really learn something, you have to really practice every day. You're going to fall down while you're learning, and you're going to get bumps - that's normal! The ups and downs of learning are an integral part of our lives. Motivation from success and depression from failure will always be your study companions. However, every student has problems in his or her studies that he or she lacks the knowledge to solve. It can be: poor memorization of words; no progress in language learning; the student can speak, but does not understand speech by ear; misunderstanding of grammar; incorrect pronunciation, etc. Agree that a problem you don't know how to solve is very demotivating. In order to find the answer to our question we have to spend a lot of time to read videos, articles and books by polyglots. In today's world, we have to solve problems as quickly as possible. I don't have time to study and analyze a huge amount of information. My goal is to master the basic knowledge of a foreign language as quickly as possible and already start earning money effectively in the international arena. I settled on the practical guide by Yuriy Ivantsiv " Polyglot's Notes: practical tips for learning foreign language". This book is always in my bag. If I have a problem while learning a language, I quickly find the answer in this book. There are many different techniques and tips for learning a foreign language in Polyglot Notes. I have made my own individual schedule and plan for language learning. Now I know what I am going to study, how I am going to study, when I am going to study and what results I am going to achieve. No problem could stop me! With an effective language learning plan my professional skills are more and more in demand internationally every day. Friends, don't stop there! Everyone has talents that millions of people around the world need! Learn the language and make your ideas and dreams come true! Thanks to the author of the channel for the informative and useful video! Your videos motivate me.

Wonderful review of Japanese books to come. I have read a few Japanese books in recent years and to be honest, have struggled a bit. However, Klara and the Sun bowled me over both charming and thought-provoking in equal measure. I have pre-ordered three of the recommendations you have made here. My bank manager won't be happy but I am really looking forward to them. Thank you for expanding my book-reading horizons a bit more. Happy New Year to you and all your subscribers.

Hello Tanya, nice to see you again!
Oh I have seen the books by Osamu Dazai in our English book section, but I did not know his story.
I am gonna put the bookshop book on my wishlist :) I actually found a description for the German version, I will try to translate:
Takako is 25 years old and her life is settled, But then her boyfriend says he will marry...another woman.
She starts a job at her uncle's , who works in the famous bookshop quarter of Tokyo in an antiquarian bookstore and she discovers her passion for reading and her joy for living again.

      Happy New Year! =)

Hello Tania... missed you girl , love your content! 💗
One of my goals this year is to continue studying Japanese cuz I love the language and their culture, do you know how much I'm happy to see you uploading new video about Japanese books? I haven't read any Kawabata's yet, now I got excited to try one from my shelves; I love these kind of stories...
The "Honeybees..." synopsis reminded me of an Anime called "Kids under the slope", I think there's a manga for it as well.. it's also about music, love, and lotttt of heartwarming friendships, It's a masterpiece, hopefully this novel is good as well..
I mostly enjoy Japanese classic literature but that contemporary bookshop novel.... I got your feelings,( it's funny how we fell in love with it without knowing the story 😆 ), the cover is so heartwarming as welll I'm looking forward for this...
Thank you , hope you a wonderful year with wonderful readings 📚 ❤

Hello! I'm happy the video was interesting. I am learning Japanese too. It's so different from other languages I've learned before but definitely an enjoyable experience.
Kawabata is absolutely a must read =) He writes beautifully and kind of soothingly. His books lull you into a kind of meditation. Please, do him a read and I really hope you'll love his writing.
Happy New Year and I hope it'll be a good one :)

Привет Таня! Давно не видимся! The End of August напоминает мне о Pachinko. Ты уже читала это произведение? Когда я ее читал, я даже не знал ничего про историю по поводу Японии и Кореи. Days at the Morisaki Bookshop
