A couple years ago in class we were doing this thing where we had to write our response to a question in our notebooks in the beginning of English class. Near the end of the year we got a chance to pick the question. One of the ones I picked was "what would you do if there was one day where you could do anything with no consequences" my friends were obsessed with the purge and so they loved that question. Someone said he would run the teacher over and the teacher said "not if I run you over first"
Fast forward to the school parking lot around 4:30 pm or so...

If you look at the history behind Christmas it is revealed to be a satanic holiday, it was even illegal to celebrate it in England for a while. You can search it up if you like, and look at the origins of Santa and what he was before. Its quite close to Christmas now in fact.

As someone who lives in a rural area i can tell you my entire street would form a compound. Pickup trucks blocking major roads, patrols of armed guards hiding in deer stands, and cases of beer stashed in barns would form our week long survival fort. It didn’t really evolve into Christmas at all. The time of Saturnalia was chosen to put Christian Christmas on because it signifies rebirth and light (end of winter).
Lucky Dal wait Christmas is celebrated in December the northern hemisphere literally is mid winter at that point.
And Rome is on the northern hemisphere if I am not completely mistaken.

Considering I live in a rural area, I'm sure everyone on our street and nearby would form a safe zone overnight. We could block major roads with pick up trucks and combines. We could strategically place deer stands to guard for a watch around the safe zone. And we definitely have enough firearms and beer for everyone.

I remember my high school Latin teacher once told us Christmas was created because of Saturnalia. After Rome fell and when the church took over people still celebrated Saturnalia. The Christians didn't like that because, to them, it was a pagan holiday. The people told the church to pound sand. They weren't going to give up their holiday. So the Church said "Okay, but from now on it's 1 day instead of a week and your celebrating the birth of Jesus". Yet another example of "If you try to take someones freedom all at once they will resist. If you take it bit by bit, they tend to let it go"
Back in the day, I had friends that thought fighting in a church or just some type of fight on Christmas was tradition. They never saw me on holiday🤣 I would make excuses everytime
