hello friend...I made the pin line before the last layer of resin...but of course when sanding I also took the pin line....now to correct that my idea is to paint the black line with a Posca marker and give it a resin hand on top.. When giving the resin, will the black line be removed? Thank you very much friend.
Hey, found your awsome video and have a lot of questions: How does it work that the pin stripe does not run? Is the paint very thick, or do you have to be patient with the removal of the crepe tapes (with you it looks like you pull off the adhesive strips again directly after applying the paint? )
First of all I love your creations, you could be a professional shaper and sell them considering how good they are. I have a question: how many boards did you shape till yet? And did you fail some of the first ones? Also, how expensive would you say your shaping tools and workshop are? I ask it because im considering to try to shape my own board
Thanks man. I’ve only shaped and glassed 8 boards. I’ve made plenty of mistakes along the way but I’ve been happy with the final result of each board. I’ve slowly added more tools with each board and can’t tell you the total cost. But my first board I shaped with just a sanding block and a spokeshave. I didn’t even have a shaping rack so I shaped it on a flat table and glassed it on some upside down buckets and foam pads. Here is a good video showing how to shape without having to invest in a lot of tools: ruclips.net/video/fzpVLqeG_RU/видео.html Good luck!
Hey love the boards! I’ve made a couple too but usually in the elements in my backyard or garage, any chance you have a link to the green house you got on amazon?
Thanks man! Yes, I don't think the same one is still available, but this one is very similar: www.amazon.com/dp/B001QIHEY0/?coliid=I38NQ9N8YGCKOB&colid=101I8OUQE4CND&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it
It just get however hot my garage is. That was just a really hot summer day. It has a nice big zipper door you can open to cool it down. In the winter I put a couple heaters inside and it holds the heat pretty well.
@@BendheimBoards I want to see if you want to work on some together and glass some together. I have three that are ready to go one is actually Balsa and mahogany
I've just watched all your vids, still waiting for another one...

Posca is water based so it will be fine

Can you contact me about hand planes please?
Everything I make is just a hobby so I don’t have any handplanes for sale, sorry.
