- This is my second video about best export settings, i figured that this way is more practical, and more people use it and it is more optimized for the web, well tell me down below what you think :)
Just started using Premiere from Sony Vegas and I needed someone familiar with the software to export my videos at great quality. This video helped me a lot, thank you so much! :)
I don't think I can thank you enough! This is probably one of the only videos about editing and stuff that has actually helped!
was trying to upload an assignment and for the life of me couldn't get it to export properly! This video saved my ass! Thanks so much for the help!
Oh my god! This video was uploaded on my birthday! Thats amazazing!
You were also born then. Mind = Blown
: P
Interesting Ted ;P
1080p or 720p does defenitly matter for the quality. -_-
Alex, thank you so much for this tutorial. I am doing a film about the CHALLENGER crew who were killed in 1986 when the space shuttle exploded. I am new to Adobe and the instructor at the school set it to render a 47GB file (27 minutes and 29 seconds) in just under 6 minutes. The quality sucked. So I am going to use this tutorial you posted to render and export the film correctly. You have helped me understand this better. Again, THANK YOU!!!! :-)
oh my gooosh
oh my gooossh

You saved my Life. when ever i export my video i get the picture before the sound. but that was because i chose android tablet 1080p instead of HD 1080p. Thank you so much, Subed
I just wanna tell you that you are AWESOME!!!! Thanks so much! I have been shooting in NTSC and needed to export in PAL and you really helped! With H.264 it also gives me multiple choices:-) You are a star!
I appreciate the hell out of this tutorial! I was struggling after upgrading from CS3. It's all so different!
thank you very much ! you just saved me with this tutorial ! best of luck from bucharest !
Good settings although not sure why you didn't choose the RUclips preset since 2-pass is already enabled there.
Bravo, sir... It worked well for me. Much appreciated.
Great Vid ..I Lost My Notes and came back! Glad its still up!
Thanks a lot for the great feedback!! i really appreciate it! and i am glad you enjoyed the tutorial!! :)
your video really helped me in a tight spot when my export kept failing.
@1:53- Where it says "Source Range," be sure to click the drop-down menu and select "Work Area."
Thank you! This was the best video I've seen on this topic!
hi there alex. hope you find time to reply. I have perm pro cs6 too, but the target bitrate and max bitrate can only go as far as 25, not 30, 40, 50 like yours does when about to export? is this weird? i really want the best bit rate possible!
Where are you? My goodness this was amazing. Thank you. You know I have spent hours talking to Adobe and they can't help with anything. Than you again.
S
i was wondering if you can give me a little information on exporting a video to go into a theatre preview. what export should i be using. thanks for you time.
Lifesaver... awesome vid man :)
Thanks for the feedback!! i am glad i could help! you are welcome! :)
Nice tutorial. In the audio settings I think stereo will suffice since RUclips doesn't support 5.1 channel audio as far as I know.
Thank you so much. This was very helpful. Keep up the Good work!!!!
Thanks Bro, that was very clear.
Thanks you so much dude I had a lot of trouble with this
Just wanted to point out that youtube has a maximum of 10 when it comes to bitrate. So whatever you upload it will be converted to 10. And audio is around 160.
Hi there! thank you with the tutorial, but there's a problem with the colour. It's quite dal compare to what i did in the software. Is it the matter of data rate when we choose for exporting?
After you export the video - you can upload it to RUclips? Or you have to take it to another program for conversion???
thanks! So, after doing this, what settings should be used for export?
Hi, Thank you so much. This video helped a lot.
You are brilliant
ok thanks! And after creating the new sequence, must i render it b4 exporting or does it not matter as much?
Thanks for tip sir. You save my day.
Hey, I also have a Canon T3i, and I checked my bitrate and it is around 15kbp/s, do you know why mine would be lower than yours? Thanks, great tutorial
Match Sequence Settings doesn't give you a low quality, if you adjust the preview file format to be QuickTime and H.264 it will work !!
AlexsAppleHelp Hello Alex I have a simple question... I want to import a video in Premier and export the SAME video (same quality, resolution same everything) back in the SAME .whatever the formal video is. How can I do that? How can I import and export the SAME video?
Thanks!
Great guide! How do you export AAC audio STEREO at 384kbps? It only lets me go up to 320kbps.. and 5.1 isnt supported by well... anything.. at all. So it's never an option.
Thank you so much for posting this!
when would you check "use previews" ?
thank you, your video was truly helpful
Hey Alex Thanks man this was so great
Should I keep the target Bitrate and Maximum Bitrate at the highest despite the size if the video is for TV broadcast?
Helpful, all should check once before final rendering! :)
so what would you suggest codec wise cause im not a big fan of h264 due to colorshift and other problems but didnt get into codecs enough to find a better one till now.
Hey Alex. Im sorry to bother you. Im exporting a firm and I have audio if its played on pc but not on tables or smartphones. I actually I can hear the music but on the dialogue. They were originally mts files that I had to convert to avi to have any sound when I imported. Im exporting in h264 24ip and 48k which matches the original material What im doing wrong?
Wow!! thanks a lot for the feed back!! and i am glad i could help!! :)
Hi, I put 12mbits for the video bitrate but the video is still taking a lot of disk space (150mo for 30 seconds)... any idea please ? (it's a screen record)
Thanks!

I'm really new to this, so sorry for asking such a dumb question but, what is the difference between rendering and exporting? For Sony Vegas Pro I would only have to render and i would be ready to upload.
Yah very helpfull!!. I guess rendering workspace is equivalent to merging layers in photoshop eh? :-)
Hi there and thank you for making this tutorial as it really help first timers like myself. I encountered an issue after uploading my clip to youtube. I realise that when I click full screen, the video simply appears at 1/4 of the window leaving the other 3/4 of it blank. Is there something wrong with my settings?
That shouldn't be happening. Try watching the video on another device. =)
You helped me so much!!!! Thank You!!!!!!!!

What would be your recommended bitrate to export as if the footage you have has a bitrate of 2002944kbps?
Alex, I am trying to dub a video using Premiere Pro CS6 to a HDV tape. Every time I go to File, Export, the tape option in grayed out. Can you help? Thanks in advance!
I always wanted to know, what is the best frame rate for a video?
even if my laptop doesn't have pro res, does it still matter what format I export in?
2.20 when i press on that different things come up and it dosnt say custom please help me
Thanks! Very helpful :D
Glad i could help!! :) no problem!
Oh ja...and helpfull....Thnks
i have exported my video and it doesn't support on mobile and it made to big size can you help me?
How do you change the bitrate in Photoshop CS6? I shoot mostly action sports in 720HD at 30fps and struggling to get smooth video in CS6 after exporting for RUclips. Apparently RUclips asks for 5000 on the bitrate for this type of situation.
Thanks brother ☺️
Did you render it before you exported? Please reply
Hello Alex, what is the best setting for a 1440x1880 (4:3) film?
