I loved watching Scott Hamilton skate. He inspired me as a teen when I did color guard. I used to try to write my individual competitions with the thought of helping others smile rather than about if I won or not. I didn't know his story until just hearing it here. It is so beautiful to hear how God has blessed him with incredible strength through such difficult times. Trying hard to do the same.

As I was rocking out to some classic 80s today, I stumbled upon a radio talk show. I listened to the entire interview because it was Scott Hamilton--Olympic Gold. I had a range of emotions while listening to the broadcast. At one point, I laughed out loud, and strangely, I felt a watery substance form in my eyes at another. Now I realize, the Gold is nice, but, the greatest achievements may happen with little recognition. Great interview. I'm so glad I tuned in.
