- Like the way each brick contributes to the foundation of a house, healthy habits sustain a strong marriage. While it’s good for couples to travel on weekend getaways or take a long vacation, true change occurs when spouses embrace those seemingly small moments for connection.
In this interview, Dr. Randy Schroeder describes practical habits to help couples navigate expectations in marriage, build emotional closeness, and resolve disagreements. Whether struggling through a difficult season or experiencing a wonderful time together, you will find helpful and practical takeaways.

Thanks I learn so many helpful tips from this broadcast!
As someone who also has Doctor’s book on parenting. I highly recommend them to even ladies preparing for marriage or desiring marriage.
Great soundbite: "With God's help I will work at forgiving you"
I think it's important to not get too crazy on "expectations". I don't like that word. You are expecting someone else to be and do exactly what you feel should be. Compromise.
When women tell men their expectations, men call it nagging.
Interesting . .
How do I get the questionnaire? you mentioned
The other woman is polite
Because she is not married to you
Get married and welcome a
Whole new set of problems
Maybe then it’s you who’s the problem. You should be asking why everyone who’s been in a relationship with you resents you, it’s probably you who’s annoying and immature to trigger it.

What about marital intimacy because me and my husband are going on 30 yrs and yet he comes up with alot of excuses for not getting intimate with me. And we dont talk about it we just brush it off.
I feel you 🥺 and I barely married for 8 years… oh help us Lord

When hv I had a eye to eye contact with conversation? Not for a very long time. My husband thinks I’m stupid and not worth the bother. But God is good. Another channel advised me to start talking to Jesus.
thanks even hugging a kissing before marriage can be dangerous.
