  • This video demonstrates 10 exercises that can be performed at home in order to challenge and slowly strengthen the inner ear balance system in order to treat dizziness due to vestibular dysfunction. Perform each exercise 10-20 times, twice a day. Keep in mind that these exercises will not help with dizziness due to BPPV and Meniere's which are treated differently. In order for correct diagnosis, please see your local ENT or neurologist. DISCLAIMER: Please perform these exercises with assistance in order to prevent injury from exercise triggered dizziness.

I had this last Feb- 2020. It lasted until the end of April of this year- 2021. I had to get a second opinion and the second doctor I saw gave me a sheet with 10 exercises to do. Healed me but took over a year. I have light symptoms to this day but im having more better days than bad days. These exercises TRULY worked and I feel helped me tremendously. Good luck everyone.

I recently had an ischemic stroke and spent 11 days in a hospital for treatment, then to be moved to a rehabilitation center for appropriate therapy and recovery. Unfortunately, the VA denied me from getting vocational and occupational therapy and was subsequently sent home. I have been studying on how to assist myself in my recovery but had difficulty discovering information until I found this video. Thank you so very much.

Just months of sitting standing moving imaginary books up & down etc...wouldn't do an epily maneuver for nothing...always claiming it could cause more harm with bp's...meanwhile left that dude... found a dif ent altogether...he did epily on the spot...dizziness all gone! I'm back at it recently , but feel as if this is something that just has to be part of my regular regimen . The music in the video reminds me of something you might hear in a 70's thriller movie . 😀

My opinion is not based on any established scientific knowledge, but I think there is the fourth thing that contributes to balance, and that is hearing, which provides passive echolocation. Even if you have your eyes closed, you can still judge your position in space based on noises.

I just recently commented on another video and I wanted to leave one here. I have been trying these exercises for almost 3 weeks and I have not felt any improvement at all. I am not even sure if it is dizziness now. And I just saw a comment where someone asked if these exercises help with feelings of imbalance, in my case no they don't but that doesn't mean mean they won't help other people. I realize that I'm not the only one who is suffering from this issue but it doesn't make me feel any better. For now I can only say best of luck to everyone besides myself suffering with vestibular issues. This stuff really sucks bad.

The exercises are subtle...not exaggerated as shown here...
Keep in mind that vestibular neuritis is caused by a previous infection with the audio nerve causing permanent damage to this nerve...these exercises help to retrain the brain to accept and handle the loss...
There is no quick fix. Damage is permanent and you are retraining the brain to accept new ways to handle balancing issues.

Can't keep eyes on target if finger moving. Use a target on a wall. Also ocular motor eye exercises are important to. There part of the visual system. Saccades and pursuit. Alot of demonstrations on RUclips

Depending on your situation, maybe you never get healed. But you do have movement in your neck, balance, and release the dizziness issue. A gentler exercise sometimes is more helpful. ruclips.net/video/Wez9SZJ7ABs/видео.html

Will these exercises help or exacerbate my condition? also when I walk fast its as if trees ..and buildings bounce up and down....no steadiness. Like a camera that,s steadying mechanism is non functional.
