I just picked up one of these. I love how slim it is compared to my MM300 (which I love but for it's height). The bracelet is very good quality, but the stock clasp...I really dislike that damn diver extension piece. Totally ruins the bracelet so I swapped it out for an MM300 ratchet clasp. Much better. Nice 055, had one in hand but couldn't bring myself to spend the dealer asking price. Hopefully Seiko will start producing in that case design. It's perfect.

I sold it a month ago. It was too much like a Turtle and not enough like a Willard. Your 033 is a better watch. I wish I could afford it. Also, if I had an 033, it would be difficult to justify owning it unless I wore it 80% of the time.

@@stevepodraza6363 I have the SPB151. It's a good watch, but no replacement for your SLA033. Now that you have it, I recommend you keep it unless you don't see the magic in it. From what I can tell, though, it's a very magical, special watch. I hope you keep it. But if you're not in love, I get it. I wasn't in love with the SLA051 and sold it for a great loss. In my experience, it's better to keep SLA-level watches than sell them.

Absolutely 100% agree with you about collection anxiety once it reaches too many watches. I'm sorta there at the moment evwn though I did a huge purge over the last 2 years selling mostly Swiss (Omega, Tudor, Oris and Chris Ward) in a resolution to ignore the branding and keep watches I really really like, rather than by brand/cost ..
But it has crept up again and theres a few in there that don't 'sing' to me and this causes me, for some daft reason, stress.... (1st world problem or what?l so I am planning a big clear out current collection is:
    Automatics:
    62MAS (the blue/grey one)
    Forest Sunbeam Alpinist
    Timefactors Smiths Everest Expedition (36mm)
Timefactors Speedbird III (Damasco quality for Turtle money)
    Hamilton 'Interstellar'
    Lum Tec Combat in Bronze
    Steeldive Willard
    Manual:
Timefactors Sewills Ferreia, which is just an awesomely well made Marine Chronometer style which I use as a dress watch.
    Quartzs:
    Elliot Brown Bloxworth
    Elliot Brown Holton
    Elliot Brown Canford
    Geckota Chronograph
    Seiko Flightmaster
The collection has been bigger but the above is over £10k worth of watches. So the plan is:
Get rid of anything that I don't wear regularly:
    Keep:
    62 MAS
    All 3 Timefactors
    Bloxworth.
    Sell
    Hamilton
    Lum Tec
    Give son
    Canford
    Steeldive
    Holton
    Gekota
    Give daughter
    Forest Sunbeam Alpinist
    Flightmaster
    Buy:
    Either:
    Grand Seiko Sport (quartz 9f)
    A Marine Master 300
    Or an SLA051..
And a 'ghost alpinist' (previously owned byt foolishly flipped)
I bought my Steeldive Willard because I didnt like the stubbier 'new' Willards by Seiko and wanted one true to the original form. The SD is a great watch for the money and gets a lot of wrist time as a beater.
Which will leave me with 8 watches
    2 divers
    1 pilot
    1 field
    1 marine Chronometer/dress
    1 alpinist
    1 quartz Chronograph
