Its interesting to see the passthrough on the frame designed for the Garrett turbo that was never installed, due to HD wanting a turbo made in house, but it was ultimatley canceled. On my 06 XB12Ss the passthrough is capped off giving me a bit more fuel, but for anyone seeking to turbo their Buell XB that frame/gas tank that was only on the 03-04 models, is very desireable.
Dude, you did an amazing job with this video. I’m going to give you a shout out on my channel and definitely put a link to this on my video…. my front cylinder just blew out a spark plug and I have to run a thread saver into it. Thanks to your video this is a $30 repair for me 🤘💪👍. … I can’t give you more than one like, but I’m certainly hoping that my video sends more traffic to what you’ve done here.
I can't confirm 100%, but I don't see why not. It's just a smaller displacement. If there is any difference, it may be with a bolt location or such. But I believe this video will help you get through 95% of what you need...leaving about 5% for some differences.
Thanks for the video! about to do this on my 07 xb12s. Was a little confused when you talk about lowering the bike. What do you mean? It's on front/rear stands, so what part are you lowering?
I don't have the exact degree on how far it will rotate. But if you needed it to rotate further, it could possibly. If you suspended the bike in the air? I had it on bike stands with a floor jack.

You always remove the negative terminal first so you can't arch the positive to ground. ..

Much appreciated! Glad it helped and hopefully I will continue with more videos. Cheers!
Good Work! I Interested to find out where you acquired your steering dampener. I cannot find dampeners for these anywhere.
Hi Jordan, it came with the bike. It was an LSL steering damper. Not sure if they make them anymore, you may need to search forums. Cheers!
Great video. Does this procedure applies for xb9sx model?

I apologize for the any confusion. But lowering the bike is in reference to lowering the engine or rotating it. Hope the video helps. Cheers!
how far forward does the engine rotate?

so you can lower and rotate it and bolt it back to the bike..with no mods?@@otobainoronin7877
